It was in a good location. Clean and tidy. Plenty of room for 5 of us.

I phoned a few days before as I had an odd email about having to approve the security deposit and the link did not take me to a page which required me to do anything. The lady I spoke to was vey nice and helpful and confirmed that it had gone through ok. The key was left in a lock box the code of which was emailed to us shortly before we arrived. The caravan was clean and well presented. Despite being close to reception it was reasonably quiet. The shower was nice and powerful which was a pleasant surprise. Items such as washing up liquid and had soap had been left for us which was a nice surprise although we had taken our own. There was a gate on the outside walkway which meant we could leave the external doors open and not worry about the dog wandering off and chasing the ducks. The kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, crockery, utensils etc. although the baking sheet provided was too big to fit in to the oven! which was not helpful when I went to cook chips for the kids.

The storage in the kitchen was good but little thought had gone in to where crockery, pots and pans were stored as they were spread throughout the cupboards leaving little space to store food, and to be honest I was not going to spend my holiday re-organising them. The caravan sleeps 6 but the small dining table only seats 4. A folding chair was provided but there was no space to use it. Space was a real issue with 5 people and it seamed every surface had been filled with decorative clutter which made it feel even smaller and cramped. For example fresh flowers had been put on the dining table which would have been a nice touch if it had not been so small. An ornamental plant had been put on the tiny dressing table which had to be moved so it could actually be used. A loose cover had been put on the settee, presumably because we took our dog. However, the thing was constantly falling off when someone sat down and was simply a source of irritation and stress as it constantly needed tidying. The settee was also incredibly uncomfortable and gave me back ache after a few minutes. The room with the twin beds placed end to end contained 2 very narrow uncomfortable beds only suitable for very small children. The details state this has 2 bathrooms which is misleading. In reality it has one bathroom and an on-suit toilet. The wifi was unusable, it took multiple attempts to connect and then it constantly dropped out and when it was connected it was so incredibly slow there was no point trying. Mandatory passes had to be purchased for the park which is only mentioned AFTER your booking is confirmed, this needs to be clearly stated upfront. We assumed these would allow the use of all park facilities but it only allowed access to the pool and everything else had to be paid for. Paying for the passes was pointless as the staff were totally uninterested in looking at them and the pools could be used by anyone with or without a pass.
