About this apartment rental
This super centrally located, industrial-style loft accommodation features authentic wood and stone, an open-plan architecture, and has recently been completely restored and/or renovated, including the bathroom with a shower, toilet, and sink; a hallway (with storage space for suitcases) and stairs leading to the open loft; the open-plan kitchen with two separate induction cooktops and an oven; a separate bedroom on the open loft with a double bed (200 x 140 cm); and in the living room, two double sofa beds (195 cm x 135 cm) and a (foldable 193 cm x 62 cm) mattress for the floor. These sleeping facilities allow for six people to stay, but it is up to the guests to assess in advance whether this provides sufficient comfort for the fifth and sixth guests. The beautiful wooden roof structure and the original brickwork are visible everywhere. The loft is located on the second (and top) floor with a stunning view, in a historic stepped-gable building dating from 1897. The ground floor is occupied by Café Dok 19, a leading café with a (heated) terrace, situated on the waterfront and enjoying plenty of afternoon sunshine.
Pigeons live in the old town center, and they can often be heard in the building. The cooing and the beating of the nearby large church tower are part of the city sounds, along with the sounds of the terrace and music, sometimes live, in the surrounding area.
It's an ideal location for visiting restaurants, shops, and historical highlights. Free parking is a 5-minute walk away.
On the first floor, a closet houses various household appliances for temporary use by all guests, such as an iron, extension cord, and hairdryer. We rent without breakfast, so we also welcome you on Airbnb. See you soon!
