About this apartment rental
You will appreciate our beautiful apartment, comfortable and bright, which is also our second home.
We have furnished it not as a rental, but as a home... Its atmosphere is warm with a bit of raw pine-style wood in all the rooms, and an industrial mountain style decoration.
Its location is perfect for skiers, next to the gondola (100 meters and 2 minutes on foot), and 8 minutes on foot from the center.
Everything can be done on foot (skiing and cable car, town center with supermarkets, market, restaurants) and no need to take the shuttle! You leave the car in the box, and it will not move for 1 week!.
It is classified furnished tourist 3* with all comfort ,with a large welcoming living room, 2 real bedrooms ,and 62 m2 of total surface area, which gives a feeling of space in this apartment, on the 4th floor out of 5 of the residence, with its large balcony of 18 M2 double exposure going around the apartment, and its beautiful view( lateral) from the balcony on the Dôme de Miage, snowy even in summer (it is a part of Mont Blanc)
You will be charmed by its large, bright and comfortable living room, with its warm modern wood and metal decoration, its 2 real bedrooms with, for one, 1 double bed queensize160X200, and for the other, 1 standard bed 140X190 and 1 bed 80X200.
Dishwasher, washer-dryer, household equipment just like at home, we feel good there as you will too!
Baby equipment is provided free of charge (120X60 bed, potty, booster chair)
You enter through a large corridor which serves all the rooms.

_ Exit to the 18 M2 double exposure balcony with a view from the balcony of the Dome de Miage on one side, and of the Aravis on the other side.

_ 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160 cmx 200 cm), new EMMA memory foam mattress + mattress topper, flat screen TV in this master bedroom, and 1 large built-in closet.

The 5-storey “Le Chatelain” Residence is located 800 m from the city center, 8-10 mins on foot, where the market is located every Thursday
Its location is quiet away from the road.
In summer, you can hear the noise from the swimming pool during the day from the neighboring residence.

A welcoming host, a great location for the ski lift, great amenities in the apartment, what's not to like?

The apartement ist very nice decorated and fully equiped. The town and the telecabines are very near, so we did’nt move the car during the whole week. Bakery in 2 minutes distance and little shops in 10 minutes distance. Very nice region with lot’s of possiblitys for hiking tours. We had a excellent time at Saint Gervais. To visit Chamonix and Aiguille du Midi we used the very new telecabine Le Valleen to reach the station Le Fayet. From there the trains part to direction Chamonix.

This is the second year that we have stayed in this apartment, we liked it so much. The gondola station is very close, it is an easy walk into town or down to the Thermes using the new water-balanced lift. The apartment is very comfortable, with some lovely big mugs for a much needed cup of tea on returning from the slopes! Just like being at home, but with a much better view!

Second stay at this apartment. Good location by the main gondola lift. Apartment is large and suitable for a family, with a king size bed, a double and a single bed. Lots of equipment and access to Netflix if you have an account. Remember to either bring your own towels and bedding or order in advance. Shower is hot and powerful and bathroom is clean and practical. Two fridges and two coffee machines! We ate out most evenings or got take away pizza, so I can not comment on the cooking facilities. St Gervais has lots of great eating places to explore and a fantastic local market on Thursday mornings. Apartment has carpark below, where we could always park and access is via a barrier (key fob provided) also available is a ski locker but we didn’t use this as we kept our skis and boots at Le Bettex in a hired locker called SkiLoc. Rental office in the town is easy to find and because we arrive after 6pm we collect the key from the office locker, communication is very good with own of the property and office staff. This year the owners told us there was a new washing machine which was better than the old one, again we didn’t use this during our stay. Apartment has a good size balcony, view is limited to another apartment and the lift, so not Mountain View’s really. But still lots of pluses for this apartment, hence why we returned again this year.
