We had a wonderful time and stay on our favorite island the Big island of Hawaii. We’ve stayed in waikoloa beach resort many times and by far Kolea was the best. The condo was lovely and had everything we needed. We had a small bump but Wendee helped us thru it. All in all a wonderful stay

There were 4 adults - Myself, husband, my Mom with late state Alzheimer's and my oldest son/care giver helper. The semi-private elevator, and large enclosed lanai made this condo totally safe for my Mom. The views were amazing, the "traffic" was light, but fun for her to watch people headed to the pool - which was warm and the view there was stunning. The added gate security was an extra layer of keeping Mom safe. The critic would be the kitchen needed organized - all of the kitchen items were stuffed in random places and the desk as well. The bedroom carpets needed cleaned. The place was clean - the carpets were white and showed traffic. Overall - I would most definitely if I had the opportunity would stay again.

The condo is top notch in every way. The lanai is the largest and nicest of any place we have stayed in Hawaii.Wendee, the host is responsive and helpful. My wife and I were there for my birthday with 2 other couples and it never felt cramped. All of the bedrooms are well furnished and comfortable

After the first step, we all fell in love with the place. The view is great, the rooms are clean & huge, and there are more stuffs than we need. We should have not brought any things as there is everything we need during the stay. Our favirate was probably the BBQ grill on the terrace. Even our mothers in their 70s enjoyed the dinner outside. Wendy was as helpful as many people wrote on their reviews. She even prepared a coffee beans grinder for us. If you are visiting the Big Island for the first time, this location is probably the best as it's close to everything. There are not too many condos from which you can really walk to the beach and shopping centers. We will surely stay here again when we visit Big Island again.

My wife's first questions to me: "can we stay a month? or could we buy one like this?" The property really is everything it is advertised to be, and we did not initially realize how close it was to the Kolea Beach Club (it's across the street) and that was also the walking path to the beach. Many properties say "minutes to the beach" and are being very optimistic, but Kolea 10B is not kidding. A great complex and a very well equipped unit.

Location, views, amenities - all as good as it gets! You get the view of the bay even from the (huge walk in) master bath shower! :) And welcome touch with a fruit basked was really nice! Would definitely stay there again for as long as it fits the budget. :) The only slight problem was ants in the kitchen. As soon as they sense any food (water?) they show up despite of the traps which are set up there. So keep your food neatly organized. And you'd want to eat as much as you can on the lanai since with that view and space you really would not want to leave the villa. We used the grill every night except for one since the Lava-Lava restaurant cannot be missed!

We spent a week here over spring break with our four kids. The condominium is roomy, well-equipped, and super clean. We spent every morning and evening sitting on the lanai enjoying the beautiful views. The pool and beach are super close. And there are two great shopping malls and a grocery store within walking distance. We highly recommend this beautiful property and plan to return ourselves someday soon.

Our stay at Kolea 10B was quite simply the best! The location was unbeatable with the pool and beautiful beaches of A-bay just steps away. Easy access to everything and anything you may want or need. As for the unit, it was stellar. Everything was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Although we stayed busy with activities all around the island, we often found ourselves being drawn back to the condo to sit on the lanai for an evening of cool breezes and brilliant sunsets. We enjoyed Kolea so much that we actually extended our stay an extra day! Our host Wendee was wonderful and accommodated our every request. We loved every minute of our stay. In fact, I hesitate to write this review because I would like to keep this gem a secret!

We had an amazing stay at Kolea 10B! It was a prime location in terms of the view and close proximity to the beach and pool. The kids loved the pool. Sunsets on the beach were incredible. The condo is luxurious in a modern style. The lanai is huge with floor to ceiling sliding doors that slide all the way open. Each room has an attached bathroom and then another bathroom in the hallway. We had small kids who couldn’t reach the sinks in the bathroom so we asked the property manager for a stool they could stand on. They didn’t have one so she bought for us the next day, which we appreciated it. We would definitely stay here again!

We all enjoyed our stay very much. The location was perfect. Everything worked in the unit. I must say we were a little confused on getting the correct control unit and selections to watch TV. Yes, I know we are on vacation and should be watching TV but it was nice laying in bed and relax watching it a little. Overall, we would without hesitation rent the unit again.

This property is everything advertised and more. We have only previously stayed in resorts on other islands in Hawaii. This was a bit of a last minute booking for us when a condo we had booked associated with the Four Seasons and Elite Pacific Vacations fell through/was cancelled due to maintenance issues and we were so fortunate to find Kolea 10B available. We snatched it based on photos and reviews and felt like it was a blessing in disguise. It's so well stocked from cookware to beach gear and towels, even sunscreen. Everything is so close - beach, pool, shops. And the host, Wendee, is incredibly responsive. We've rented a fair number of VRBO properties and I don't think I've ever had someone as responsive as her. It's hard to imagine anyone would be disappointed staying here, and it will definitely be top of our list if we go with a condo again when we return to Hawaii.

My family rented several units throughout Waikoloa and everyone agreed that this unit was far and away the best. A private key takes the elevator to this units "lobby". When you open the door you're greeted with an open living room, dining room and kitchen with wall to wall glass panels to the patio. The patio is spacious enough for at least 16, with a built in BBQ, mini fridge and sink. The view overlooking the bay is spectacular. The kitchen is well appointed with Viking appliances and everything you'll need to cook up some great meals. There's counter top seating and an 8 person dining table There are 3 bedrooms, each with their own bath and another half bath in the hall for guests. The 2 master suites have wheelchair accessible showers (with was the reason I chose this unit) and the rooms are large and spacious. I spoke with the property manager, Wendee, several times prior to the trip who helped with special needs and dinner reservations for a group of 30. She was attentive, caring and a wonderful person. I highly recommend this unit for families visiting The Big Island. You CAN'T be dissapointed.

Everything was exactly as pictured and our only complaint is that we didn't stay longer! The views are beautiful, the pool and beach access couldn’t be closer and the condo is incredibly well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We had an issue with one ac unit and they had someone over to fix it in no time. Would absolutely stay here again!
