Kouki Maria Rooms

Maria was a wonderful warm host, who went above and beyond at every opportunity to show genuine hospitality. Do not miss homemade breakfast on the terrace with fresh eggs from Maria’s chickens and homemade made cakes and jams, all at an exceptionally reasonable price. Rooms spotlessly clean and more modern than photos illustrate - felt recently refurbished. Location couldn’t be better - right between the main village apolonia and beautiful historic Artemonas - very charming with fantastic restaurants. The view from the terrace over the water to the other islands was breathtaking. The property is reached via approx a 5 min walk up steps. This was a beautiful winding path and didn’t bother us at all - but worth bearing in mind if you have mobility issues/ lots of heavy luggage. We hope very much to be back one day!

Location was great between two towns walking distance to Apollonia, which has amazing shops and restaurants and bars, but it’s up on the hill with a gorgeous view and breakfast is served in front of your window every morning

Get directions how to get to the property from the parking lot might be a little confusing, but you’re basically walk straight up the stairs keep going straight and when the road splits literally make a U-turn and go down took a few tries to find it

Amazing location and wonderful staff. Maria is an absolutely lovely woman, gives great recommendations and it feel like living with a greek mum. Stunning views of Apolloania from the breakfast terrace

Shower was solar shower so sometimes was a bit cold and beds were a bit uncomfortable

No privacy, rooms not isolated from sounds. Mosquito, as windows had no filter. Room located where breakfast was served and kept our windows closed all time otherwise could be seen. All rooms are like that. It's a quite cheap option for accommodation but cons are more...
