Villa Garcia

The house was amazing. All the equipment available was great. All the kitchen utensils needed were there. The outdoor bbq was fantastic. We had an amazing time, we ate, we played, we slept really well, no noise. There’s a pool table and some card games. Toilets very spacious and plenty of towels available. Tv available in all the rooms with access to Netflix and other channels. The beds were really comfortable. The swing in the garden was beautiful. Outstanding views from all the rooms in the house, we watched the sunset and the sunrise. You must have a car if you want to get out and about, the locals were all kind and friendly.

Es una casita muy agradable. Cómoda para 5 personas que fuimos y bien equipada en un enclave natural increíble.

The village is essentially abandoned. The majority of the houses seem to be tourist rentals, most of which seem to be exploited by Villa Garcia. If you’re looking for quiet, this is it - except for dog barking competitions ;) The few people I saw were very nice, and the inside of the house was quite comfortable. The manager was easily reachable and nice, despite our early checkout.

That the photos on the Booking.com website main slider do not clearly state which actual house they belong to. The overall description mentions a pool and garden, but that only applies to one of five or six housings managed at different addresses by Vila Garcia. The fine details of each lodging option are not in the description, but under “Important and legal info”. In fact, the property description is clearly contradictory to the latter. We left after a night, and booked something else, elsewhere
