The apartment is spacious, with nice and simple design. It is well maintained and clean (apart from high shelves which were dusty). The TV has Netflix - highly welcome for international travellers. The "reception" staff is very responsive and kind (via Booking chat; you don't see anyone in person). Great location: the street/area is cool and lively, full of trendy shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy to walk to city center. There's a tram stop right in front of the building.

The payment must be done beforehand, as an online payment via an unknown portal where you enter your card details. Not great, but all worked well. Still, a standard card payment (processed by the accommodation) would be preferable. The kitchen has good amenities but basic cooking necessities would be welcome. A few capsules for the Nespresso machine, a couple teabags, salt and pepper etc. (All of this literally cost a few cents at the nearby Aldi - but you may not be able to go right after arrival...) For longer stays, a towel change would be welcome every 3-4 days. As others point out, the accommodation sends a lot of messages (instructions, info, reminders) before the stay - just 1-2 would be better.

Living room and bedroom are both spacious and the apartment appears to have been refurbished. It's decorated in a flamboyant, but light and interesting, style and is modestly furnished. It was very comfortable and the Wi-Fi was very good. There is a tram stop within 50 m of the building which will take you to the city centre and the Hauptbahnhof in about 10 minutes. There are plenty of eateries on both sides of the street, and supermarkets within a few minutes' walk. The living room faces the street, but it is not at all noisy.

Apartment is on the top (4th) floor and, given it is such an old building - with plenty of character, there is no lift, so be prepared to carry your suitcase(s) up 89 old and creaking wooden stairs. Also found the incessant number of emails from the property to be infuriating. It's one thing to send relevant information, but to be bombarded with multiple emails over a number of days before arrival, each containing various pieces of information and requests, drove me mad. Surely that could all be done with one or two emails at the most?

Everything was perfect and as described - location, access, furniture, everything clean and quiet. Very pleasant stay, thank you.
