Casa 87 - Sorrento

Casa 87 was the accomodation you could only dream to find. Located in the absolute centre of Sorrento, Casa 87 is close to restaurants, the train station and numerous other utilities, all while possessing all the amenities needed to make life while travelling easy. Salvatore and Marianna were incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make our stay a fantastic one including liaising with airport and delivery services when our bag got lost on our flight over. The property is beautiful, highlighted by the balcony which overlooks the street. Before staying we were a bit concerned about the noise from the street but Salvatore had already thought about this, and the noise cancelling doors meant we slept peacefully. Little touches including having a large bottle of water ready for us and Salvatore running through how to use everything from the washing machine, to the air con, and even to the windows (as non-Europeans this was very useful) was so appreciated. We searched extensively for our Amalfi Coast accomodation and stand by that Casa 87 would be very difficult to beat. Thank you Salvatore and Marianna for an incredible stay!

Very central for shopping, bars, cafes, restaurants. Very clean. Ideal for a couple. Super host, lives nearby and very helpful. No worries about sleeping- street is very quiet over night.

Nothing to dislike.

The updated apartment is in a great location in the heart of old Sorrento up one flight of stairs. A 3 minute walk from Piazza Tasso and 8 minute walk from the Sorrento train/bus station. The host met me at the apartment at the agreed upon time and explained everything to me. Great place for 1/2 people. Bed was comfortable and apartment was spotless. Would definitely stay here again!

Only issue was street noise in the morning at 6:00am. Keep in mind this is an active street of typical tourist shops and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, 'Enjoy the Little Things Bistro' is right out of your door. Excellent husband/wife restaurant, great care and food!
