At the large communal dining table made of solid oak with a cozy corner bench, 14 guests can sit comfortably. All bedrooms face south and offer a magnificent view of the shimmering blue-and-white lake. The 5 main rooms on the first floor are exclusively equipped with a large balcony, private toilet, and shower. In the attic, you’ll find a sauna and infrared cabin, bathtub, and relaxation area – all with a view of the lake.
At Franzerl, you’ll vacation right on the clearest and highest-altitude swimming lake in the Alps. Thanks to its unique geographical and geological features, the crystal-clear waters of Lake Weissensee warm up to 24°C in summer and regularly offer the largest groomed natural ice surface in Europe during winter. The turquoise-hued lake lies south of the High Tauern, far from any transit traffic, nestled in a small high valley at nearly 1,000 meters above sea level.
Private lake access with bathing hut just 50 meters away – exclusive to your group. A rowboat and 2 canoes are available free of charge. Covered parking. Lockable bike storage or ski cellar. 2 bicycles for shopping trips are available. Boat dock just 100 meters from “Franzerl am Weissensee.”
