Too many things were broken , it is not properly maintained

Brak worków na śmieci ( brak wyniesienia śmieci wiąże się z dodatkową opłatą), bardzo zużyte patelnie ( zdrapany teflon) , krzesła w jadalni niestabilne - strach na nich usiąść) . Purchle na ścianach i podłogą na górze domu z odstającymi klepkami. Deska klozetowa mniejsza niż toaleta.

Mouldy walls with paint coming off in places due to excessive moisture.

The villa is spacious, it had been cleaned very well before our arrival and the location is good - 20 minutes walk to Lagos, 10 minutes walk to Porto Mos beach. Pool area sunny all day. Despite the things we didn't like, the villa has a good atmosphere, is light and sunny and once we got over our initial disappointment that the villa interior and exterior doesn't look at all like the photos, we enjoyed our stay.

Almost all of the nice touches you see in the photos have been stripped out of the villa. There are hooks on the walls where pictures used to be. The lamps have all been exchanged for cheap lamps. The curtains are hanging down. All of the cabinets, cushions, some of the furniture etc in the photos are gone. One of the bedroom tables was broken and kept falling over. The dining room table has been replaced with an old, cheap table. The external furniture is ancient and very worn. Despite having 2 good sized balconies upstairs, there were no chairs to sit on, so the balconies were pretty pointless. Looks like no garden maintenance has been done for some time - there are loads of weeds. There were only 3 glasses (tumblers) and 3 wine glasses. I bought some more at the supermarket. There is water damage to one of the floors and walls upstairs. You only get 1 set of keys which have to be collected from a rental agent in Lagos - which is pretty inconvenient for anyone travelling without hiring a car as nowhere to leave cases while you wait for 4pm check in. The frustrating/disappointing thing about the villa is that for not much money/investment at all, it could be excellent. Either that or use accurate, up to date photos and leave potential guests to decide for themselves.
