**Twin Oaks Holiday House Review**We recently stayed at Twin Oaks and had a lovely time overall. The property is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, perfect for a relaxing getaway. However, for families with children, it’s worth noting that there are limited activities specifically geared toward kids in the immediate area apart from football golf Frisby golf and an indoor swimming pool. The owners have great communication and did make us aware of some issues reported by other guests offering to sort these whilst we were there. This really wasn’t necessary but we appreciated the great communication. The house itself has a lot of potential, but a few other maintenance issues that need to be addressed. We noticed that the balcony roof leaks onto the decking below when it rains, and some nails on the decking are raised, which could be a hazard. I believe the nails have pieced the felt causing the roof to leak below and the ply roof is starting to rot. Additionally, there’s no TV in one of the upstairs bedrooms not a big deal but with kids this would be a nice addition. Hot tub is great but again some aspects of it require some small maintenance jobs to be carried out. The stereo doesn’t work on it, some of the knobs are broken for the jets to work all minor issues. While the house was generally comfortable, it could do with a thorough deep clean throughout to freshen it up. Despite all these minor issues, we had a really great time and would definitely consider staying at Twin Oaks again.
