We had to shorten our stay because of the weather so they refunded two of our nights. No hassle. Let us check in early when we did arrive. Will likely use again

We stayed here over spring break for a non Disney Florida trip. The home was lovely and very clean and had everything we needed to be extra comfortable on our trip. The kids loved the pool and walking to old town one night was a fun experience. The only issue we encountered was we paid an extra fee to check in early as we had a very early am flight and confirmed it multiple times with the property managers. When we got there the cleaners were there and very upset we were early and no one ever told them. The cleaners were so kind and worked very hard to make things lovely, but it was embarrassing that there clearly was no communication with the property management and them and made us feel uncomfortable as they were just doing their job and had no idea. There was an unexpected power loss the first night to next morning, without a storm, so we were unsure if we would loose all our food or not and it was very, very hot, but obviously that was a chance you take with Florida weather. Overall it was a great location, close to lots of major places to visit and the house was very clean, with fun amenities for families.

The townhouse was in a GREAT location! We were able to take our golf cart (street legal) and drive to Old Town, Gaylord Palms, Icon Park, Sea World and tons of Restaurant and Shopping options. Would have been super easy to make it to the Disney parks as well. There was plenty of room for our family and it was quiet.
The check in process was odd since they consider a reservation made a month ahead "last minute." I had to send a selfie with my ID and a picture of my CC to verify my identity even though we booked through VRBO. Fortunately they were very responsive as I didn't see this requirement until we were on our way to the house and they replied almost immediately with the access information.
There is also no "starter" cleaning supplies but they require you to wash the towels and dishes before checking out. I completely understand the need to clean dishes and start a load of towels before checking out of a house as this is has been a typical requirement for most places we have rented. The odd part is that this is a requirement but they don't provide any supplies so it made me nervous about how clean the items were if the expectation was for previous renters to ensure they were clean. What I have usually seen is that there would be at least enough dishwasher pods/dish soap and laundry supplies to do at least 1-2 loads. Maybe it's just my trust issues that make me think that not all people are respectful enough to make sure they leave clean supplies.
