Skiing, hiking, biking, sightseeing, leaf peeping, swimming, kayaking all within minutes from your doorstep! The property is adjacent to an adorable park where you can picnic, play with the kids or your pets! The village offers two small restaurants, a pub, deli, pharmacy, convenience store, small local grocery store, coffee shop, Ice cream shop all within walking distance from your guesthouse. Lake Placid, Saranac Lake, Plattsburgh, Lake Champlain are all short drives from Dannemora where you can find; shopping, fine dining, historical site seeing and more.

We had a great stay in Dannemora! The spot worked out perfectly for our group of 4 college students. The vrbo is very close to Mount lion which made it easy for us to go on the hike! The property owner is extremely nice and let us check out later than planned because our hiking. The apartment is very clean and cute and has a big living room that is good for playing games or watching movies. It is located right next to Dannemora prison which and there is not much in the town other than the prison however it is a good place to stay if you want to hike or explore nearby. There is also a Dunkin’ Donuts and a pizza shop right next to the place which was convenient.
