Lovely building and beautiful room. It has a lot of charm. You can park your car for free within our outside the gate.

Breakfast is typically French with croissants, bread & jam. There were gluten free crackers for me. It was good but a bit basic

Peaceful and charming stay, right next to castle Chambord!

We just LOVED the warm hospitality of the owners who went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfy. They upgraded us to their best room which was very large with a huge and luxurious bathroom with rain shower. The Moulin shows a charming old exterior, beautifully restored and offering a very tasteful and upscale interior. Un grand merçi, Sébastien et Delphine!

A half bottle of red wine would have made it pure heaven but the locally brewed beer was fantastic and largely made up for it!

Beautiful location and room, squeaky floors.

The hotel is located down a very quiet road in the forest by the river. It was lovely. The room was very tastefully designed and decorated. It was clean (although the floors felt a bit dusty). And the floors in the room are very slippery and extremely squeaky. You couldn't walk from the bed to the bathroom during the night without waking everyone up because of how loud the floors are. That said, everything else about our stay was nice. Friendly hosts. Lots of French pastries and jams for breakfast.

Tranquil and comfortable, perfect place to stay!

What an amazing place! A few minutes from the lovely town of Blois and within easy distance of some stunning Loire castles, the Moulin de Vineuil is the perfect place to stay. Beautiful building surrounded by trees, lawns and water, it is extremely tranquil. Delphine and Sébastien are gracious hosts, and provide abundant information about things to do and places to eat. The rooms have been recently renovated and have large and comfortable beds. The perfect home base to explore this region, will definitely be returning in the future!

Vier vakantie als een God in Frankrijk!

De locatie is geweldig, vlak bij diverse majestueuze Loire kastelen en het middeleeuwse stadje Blois. De accomodatie is zeer rustig en landelijk gelegen in de zijvleugel van een prachtige 17/18e eeuwse voormalige watermolen met een groot park er omheen. Goede communicatie met de vriendelijke en klantgerichte eigenaren die soms zelf in het hoofdgebouw zijn en liefdevol het complex restaureren. Het appartement is lekker ruim met vier slaapkamers, een ruime keuken met alles erop en eraan en een grote woonkamer. Van alle gemakken voorzien bovendien, goed sanitair en strak opgemaakte en zeer comfortabele bedden. De airco was erg welkom toen het buiten 43 graden was en wij heerlijk koel binnen konden zitten. De privé tuin direct grenzend aan de keuken, met een grote lindeboom in het midden voor de schaduw, is magnifiek en nodigt uit tot heerlijk lange en lome maaltijden met een fles Loire-wijn en andere streekproducten. Kortom: een absolute aanrader, briljante plek. Ideaal uitgangspunt ook voor fietstochten langs de Loire. Als je het ultieme Frankrijk-gevoel wilt ervaren dan moet je hier naar toe.

Es war nur ein Schlüssel vorhanden. Mit 6 Personen musste man sich gut organisieren (War aber auch kein Problem).

L'hébergement est exceptionnel : superbement rénové, dans un cadre verdoyant on ne peut plus apaisant, à proximité immédiate de nombreux points d'intérêt tels que Chambord ou Blois (si tant est que vous ayez envie de quitter ce lieu magnifique...!) Tout est très confortable, l'équipement est excellent, et les hôtes sont aux petits soins, même à distance. Bref, nous n'avons qu'une hâte : revenir pour flâner le long de l'eau, autour du feu ou devant un des châteaux qu'il nous reste à découvrir !
