The apartment is located in an incredibly peaceful and secluded natural setting, where in the evening all you can hear are the cicadas and the gentle sound of running water. It is truly beautiful. The building itself is a little neglected, and you have to carry your luggage up a fairly steep staircase to reach the apartment. However, the apartment is very nice, well equipped, and has comfortable beds. One thing I don't understand is why guests are asked to park outside the gate when there is a large courtyard inside the property with plenty of space and secure parking. Fortunately, after discussing it with the host, we were allowed to park inside. The host was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful.

The only thing that concerned us at the beginning was an unexpected request, less than 24 hours before arrival, to pay a security deposit of more than €800. This requirement had not been mentioned anywhere in the Booking.com listing or booking conditions. Fortunately, everything worked out well, and the deposit was refunded to our account about a week later.

Zonwering of overkapping was fijner geweest zodat je niet zoals nu de hele tijd een rolluik dicht hebt en niet naar buiten kunt kijken of lopen.

Die Unterkunft ist in jeder Hinsicht perfekt. Toll gelegen zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und mit guter Einkaufsinfrastruktur. Die Anlage selbst ist riesengroß und sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist toll ausgestattet, insbesondere die Küche. Wir haben eine tolle Zeit mit vier Kindern und Hund dort verbracht. Es war eine traumhafte Woche und die Gastgeber sind unheimlich nett. Für einen Besuch des Loire Tals gibt es keinen besseren Tipp.

The hotel is located down a very quiet road in the forest by the river. It was lovely. The room was very tastefully designed and decorated. It was clean (although the floors felt a bit dusty). And the floors in the room are very slippery and extremely squeaky. You couldn't walk from the bed to the bathroom during the night without waking everyone up because of how loud the floors are. That said, everything else about our stay was nice. Friendly hosts. Lots of French pastries and jams for breakfast.
