Worth to stop on a long journey in every season. Calm and relaxing place.

Calm room with nice bathroom in an old reconstructed traditional house with very comfortable bed and pleasant heating and air condition. We spent 2 nights in the guest house to/from our way to Greece. Thanks for the great traditional home made dinners and breakfasts and the hospitality of the staff. The owner told us interesting facts and stories about the area. We will return again.

We recomend that soft isolation materail or polyfoam be attached to the the beam of the passageway leading to the dining room with a warning sign due to the height of 160 cm.

Lovely county break

We arrived in the evening after a drive through Serbia. We did not have access to internet in Serbia so we were not able to give an estimated time of arrival so I suppose we cought everyone a little by surprise (I guess another party arrived later that night but otherwise the guesthouse was empty). Fortunately somebody found us wandering around in the garden :D. Anyway, it's a old country house. It has couple of apartments in it that share entrance and I guess also a fridge. There is also seating area infront of the house. Our apartment had two rooms, a shower + toilet and cooking facilities. Generally it is a very cosy and a superb alternative to city apartments. The hosts also provide food (so if you want dinner then it is a good idea to let them know when you arrive and also if you want to eat - though we got dinner even though we didn't inform them in advance but just had to wait). The eating place was in a old cellar next to the main house and the food and atmosphere there were also amazing. Also, the whole place is up in mountain so there are a few places with impressive views there. Parking is right infront of the house. A bit sad that we were tired and didn't get a chance to relax outside in the evening with the hosts sharing a wine or two. This place would be great for a longer stay.

A hoe away from home

I wanted a typical Serbian experience so I choose the very small guest house. The house was very homely. The guest very welcoming. He helped us out in the itinerary. He gave us welcome drink. He took us to his wine cellar. Finally he gave us a very good bottle of wine to take with us. Just fun

Amazing location, charming accommodation and wonderful host

As soon as we arrived we were given such a warm welcome , we were given a tour of the beautiful wine celler and mini museum of local traditional clothing and wine making equipment together with a tipple of the local drinks , the house is in an amazing location with lots of lovely walks , the accommodation is full of charm and character and there is the most wonderful little restaurant just for guests , the food again is traditional and home made and the host and hostess are so attentive without being over the top , my only regret is that our visit was too short ! I absolutely love this place and feel we also made a friend in the host , we will definitely be back but next time for longer !

Wonderful place!

Very nice place in the West Stara planina mountain. The hosts are very kind and talkative. The wardrobe and some of the commodes are old, but renovated. This is giving extra charm of the place.The room is very clean. The basement -the place for winter storage- is built with big stones . It is typical for the mountain villages in the Balkans. The place is very cool in the hot summer and the hostess is serving here the dinner and the breakfast prepared by herself . Тhere are many flowers around. Near to the village of Sitchevo is the resort Niska banja. Here in hotel Radon you can withdraw money from an ATM. We hope we come here back in the next summer to enjoy the picturesque views.

Hidden gem of Serbia

Arriving in this charming village was a treat in itself. But what happened next exceeded our expectations. The room was very spacious and check-in was instant. Everything felt very homey and cozy. Then we were offered homemade brandy to ease after a long, 10-hour drive. It tasted great, and would definitely buy a bottle. The dinner we ordered earlier was the cherry on top. I don't think I have ever eaten such a delicious and authentic chicken soup. Everything on the table was also fresh, very local, and tasted amazing. After the dinner we went to see a spectacular view on the gorge, which was just around the corner. The hosts were very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Maybe the blinds in the windows could be a bit better for an early summer sunrise.

I highly recommend this place for a quiet, peaceful get away.

The location was beautiful. The staff were friendly, kind, and welcoming. It was surprisingly comfortable and cosy. I felt very at-home and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the noise of the city.

Parking was a little rough, but still manageable. There were several dogs in the town that would just sit in the road and you would have to move them out of the way to get to and from the city sometimes, though they were friendly, just keep an eye out for them.
