A great choice
The location was great. The single room was comfortable especially the bed. The bathroom was great with a nice hot shower. The view out the front was beautiful. The breakfast was great. The price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The curry night was delicious and great value.
There was no WiFi in my room at all. On the first night I could hear the faint humming of a machine (the extractor fan/air con?) all night. The second night all was quiet and peaceful. A chair in the room (as well as the dressing table chair) would be useful.

On the whole, a very pleasant stay.
Room was perfect for a night stay, and well situated for onward journey north.
Breakfast could have been better. Choice full english or continental.I asked for just scrambled egg on toast, I had use toaster for toast, egg arrived before toast toasted. Not convinced scrambled eggs were made from fresh eggs, possibly powdered, not tasty and left most of it. Had toast, jam and a cup of tea, Bit disappointing for someone who would not eat a large cooked breakfast,

Single rooms are away from the main building. I need to separate with my family. Car park entrance is too narrow especially when there is a car parking opposite to the entrance.

Comfortable friendly hotel in lovely Cotswolds village
Really nice staff. Excellent Sri Lankan curry in the restaurant. Good breakfast. Comfortable and roomy bed. Good car parking if a little tricky to navigate. Internet worked fine. Staff saved my book.
I phoned 3 times and emailed but never got a response for our table booking. It would be nice to have fresh orange juice rather than squash and Hot drinks which don't come out of a machine.
