Charmant appartement au cœur de Courchevel 1550, accès direct Courchevel 1850 - FR-1-575-67

The apartment has a perfect location 3 min away from Grangettes ski lift, 2 min away from Proxi supermarket and 7 min away from "Courchevel Village" bus stop (uphill). It is very spacious for French standards, the balcony is a big plus, it has mountains view. The apartment is very warm and clean. The welcome kit includes L'Occitaine shower amenities and cleaning stuff for the kitchen. The apartment comes with lots of clean towels, extra pillows, etc. There is a hair dryer. The agency is very responsive and can answer all your questions. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would happily come back, however there were a couple of nuances.

We booked our stay via Booking.com, but in reality the apartment is rented out by Home‐Courchevel.com local French agency, so if you book directly with them the price will be about 30% less. However, this we found out only after we paid via Booking. The bedroom windows are facing the main street and the windows are very light, so be prepared for street noises as of 6:30 in the morning (garbage pickup, streets cleaning, etc). The building is a bit dated, so the apartment could benefit from some renovations. There is a sewage smell in the bathroom which is quite common for old buildings in France. The kitchen lacks some basic hospitality extras like salt/pepper or coffee/tea bags, so be prepared to buy your own.
