The Inn at Fisherman's cove

The staff were very friendly and the rooms have everything that you need for a comfortable stay.

Nothing

The room itself and the building was lovely. The breakfast was great, they cooked pancakes and scrambled eggs for us. Parking was easy. It was basically on Fisherman's Cove.

We were surprised to find the location on a major road and not all tucked away like it looked in the ad. We came on Canada's Thanksgiving holiday and all the shops and food places within walking distance, other than fast food, were closed in Fisherman's Cove, so the value of staying here wasn't as great. It would have been fun if things were open.

Check in was quick and simple - given the main door code, room door was unlocked with key inside. Plenty big enough for two and had a balcony overlooking the small harbour slip. There was 24 hour access to make hot beverages and for snacks. In the morning, we were provided a choice of eggs and/or pancakes, along with cereals, yogurt, juices, toast and coffee/tea. Staff was friendly and answered any and all questions. Room was clean and warm. The location was fine for us. Pizza place right next door and tone of the ferries to Halifax was a 7-8 minute drive away.

The only thing I mentioned was if they could have a small folding table/tv tray that could go on the one side of the bed. I use a CPAP machine and this would have been helpful. This is an extremely minor mention.

Really nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Yummy eggs in the morning.

From a safety point of view, it was uncomfortable to see the emergency exits blocked by cots. Being on the road side was very loud all night.
