Really enjoy staying here

Lovely apartment, i always try to get in here when visiting fot work, so always delighted when i find that its available, lovely warm apartment, underfloor heating is lovely especially in this weather, owners are very good aswell, very good comms, check in and out very easy, there is a lot of stairs up to the apartment, but this is stated in the booking, but i quite enjoy the exercise of using the stairs, morrisons is just out the back and the kitchen has everything you need to cook yoir own meals

You get what you pay for.

Quite roomy. There was only one small duvet on the bed; luckily, we found another in the closet. Fortunately, they left a lot of cleaning supplies in the apartment, so we could tidy up what wasn't entirely clean.

You get what you pay for. But I've stayed in many better and cleaner places for less. I wasn't expecting luxury, but the apartment simply isn't what it looks like in the photos. The furniture and kitchen appliances are very worn. The sofa is sagging, the TV has been replaced with a small computer monitor, and the bed creaks with every movement. The bathroom doesn't look too good either. I don't think I've ever seen such worn-out pans or such dirty windows. There were about seven different air fresheners in the entire apartment. The dusty, old flowers on the shelf by the table didn't exactly add to the pleasant atmosphere. When someone walks up the stairwell, you can hear them in the apartment, so it woke us up several times during the night. There's also a lot of noise from neighbors arguing and loud music from the pub. On top of that, the landlord sent us misleading information about parking—literally, nothing was correct. It's good that we checked everything ourselves, or we would have gotten a parking ticket.

Had what you needed and was a nice stay with good.communication from the host.

The host was very good with communication and the apartment was a good base to get out to see the south lakes.had everything you need for a good stay. Bed was comfy and the spa bath was a nice relax after a long walk. Close to restaurants and town centre.

Sofa has collapsed and needs a bit of TLC.

The hosts were great and let us check in early. Location is so handy for everything. Apartment clean and well equipped. TV is small bur was not a problem for us.

The sofa probably could do with a new one. It sinks in places and generally not that comfortable. We used the foot stool to make it firmer.

We felt unable to stay in Marina Court, despite having paid and had to find alternate accommodation.

The location was extremely smelly, shabby and felt very unsafe.

The building looked almost derelict, was in a very undesirable area and extremely difficult to find.

Apartment was very clean and excellently equipped . Comfy bed and lots of storage. A great workout to get to the fourth floor ! I’d happy live in an appartment like this full time !

Tried to use the front entrance, there was a key for it but seemed to have been dead locked from the inside. Not sure if intentional. Main entrance at the rear was easy to use tho .

An honest review.

The price of this apartment is very cheap and this is reflected in the apartment. It is very spacious with really nice big windows. I didn't use the kitchen but I believe it was well equipped with everything you would need. The whole place was relatively clean. The communication from the host was great. A lot of people have commented on the stairs, yes there are a lot but it's advertised this way and it wouldn't be an issue if you don't have any health or mobility issues, it is dark on the stairs though so you need to watch your footing.

Upon arrival I was put off by the area, it's quite run down and didn't feel particularly safe there, although the building does have CCTV which some may find comforting. The apartment had a weird smell. Maybe damp. There are lots of plug in air fresheners and reed diffusers dotted around but the smell was still apparent. The apartment itself was tired looking. It's advertised with TV services like Netflix but the fire stick doesn't work, the sofa is also broken so if you sit on it you tilt backwards, this was really uncomfortable. You don't go away to watch TV obviously, but as we had a child with us we had to spend the latter part of the evening inside the apartment and it was very hard to relax and unwind there. We actually booked and paid for 2 nights but decided to leave after the first night. I wouldn't return here, like I said previously it's a very low cost apartment and I feel it's a fair price for what you get. Unfortunately with it being bank holiday our options were limited when looking for somewhere to stay.

A spacious and well equipped apartment in the heart of Barrow.

The apartment very clean and well presented. We found it particularly well equipped and liked the spacious rooms and high ceilings. Located just five minutes from the centre of Barrow we were able to leave the car and walk everywhere. We had a lovely 8 mile walk around the north of Walney Island.

Being on the top floor without the benefit of a lift, some people might find carrying their luggage quite difficult.

Good clean apartment, light and spacious. All linden, towels all ready. Local shops nearby, everything needed for a short break. Ideal location to visit walney nature reserve.

Kitchen electrical trip switched off couple of times just had to switch on again mainly when using the toaster. Tv/ Internet would freeze and take a while to work again.

The fact that we had 63 steep steps to appaartment. Both in our 70.s we were not sdvised it was so bad. It spoilt our holiday because we couldn't,t go out as we normally would because we couldn't,t manage the stairs..appointment very hot needs a fan or air con. Couldn't,t open any bedroom windows there was scaffolding up. Not good for security. A mop bucket was in the middle of bedroom floor partly full of water obviously a leak. It would also have helped if we had been given some info about parking at morrisons. The trolly man Gareth did it for us. We had to get an app.

Excellent facilities, really clean and good location for our visit

My only minor issue was that it was right up on the top floor so anyone with heart conditions like me or with mobility issues may wish to bear this in mind. Worth the 63 stairs for the quality and value for money of the accommodation.

Well-designed flat in central Barrow ideal for a short stay.

Loads of space. Well-laid out and nicely decorated flat. Full laundry and cooking facilities. Parking outside the door (overnight - fine if you are out during the day). Easy walk to shops / restaurants.

Small things: 60+ stairs to climb! Entrance at the back is a little off-putting at first (lot of rubbish etc) Kitchen is generally well-equipped, but surprising lack of dinner plates (only side plates and cereal bowls to eat from). Floor could do with a mop and I also found the pans were not clean.
