It was an anniversary trip. We normally get a car but this year we had difficulty because St. John requires you to have your own car insurance and We didn’t. So this property is certainly walkable to town and we would get a cab to the beaches. But keep in mind you will be paying about 20 a day to and from beaches. It’s definitely worth having a car on this property. There is a grocery store downstairs and there is an amazing coffee shop Giovani I believe is the name. The croissants and coffee are great. The apartment has a very noisy ac unit and it was always cold no matter if you moved the thermostat as directed on the paperwork. I couldn’t get the TV to connect to internet but was able to watch some basic channels to check weather and news. Regardless I would still recommend the apartment. It was new and clean and worked very nicely for us. It has pots and pans and dishes and cups and utensils. I did not see any spices (sometimes guests leave them behind). We didn’t bother cooking but you are able to. Would definitely stay again.

Came to spend a week with our daughter who lives in St John to celebrate her birthday. This property was perfect for me and my wife. Very clean and modern with central air!!! Guest Services was prompt in answering all questions and helping when needed. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Many positive attributes in terms of access, cleanliness and general location. Sizeable rooms.
Anyone expecting to self-cater will be surprised that there is nearly no work area and no table that accommodates two people seated to eat a meal. There are sufficient dishes and pots, but no dishwasher or drain 'board'.
We were surprised there were no windows that provided any view whatsoever outside the building - a frosted window into the hallway was kind of funny, frankly.
The A/C system is a poor choice for a rental unit...too complicated with no real instructions but an attempt to help with 'only use up and down'...and that did not work for us really.
Walk to the center of Cruz Bay was okay for those, like us, used to the jumble of Caribbean cities; but kind of ugly for beginners
Our net review is 'okay...but'. But when the service fees are added to the fees/night, it is kind of high priced.
