Welcome to Horseshoe Hollow, a completely private 3 bedroom mountain cabin situated on 15 wooded acres along the West Fork of the French Broad River! Located between Brevard, Lake Toxaway, Cashiers, and Highlands, this home offers a peaceful setting with excellent access to some of Western North Carolina's best fishing, hiking, waterfalls, biking, dining, and outdoor adventures.
Upon arrival to Horseshoe Hollow, guests are welcomed by the privacy of the property and the natural beauty surrounding the cabin. The home sits directly along the West Fork of the French Broad River, offering guests their own private stretch of riverbank and easy access to the water. With an abundance of trout streams throughout the area, Horseshoe Hollow is an ideal home base for anglers looking to spend their days fishing the waters of the mountains.
The main entrance opens into the living room, kitchen, and dining areas. The living room features comfortable seating, a stone fireplace, exposed beams, and rustic touches that give the cabin its classic mountain character. The kitchen is equipped with a drip coffee maker and Keurig, toaster oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, and the essentials needed to prepare meals during your stay. The dining area provides a comfortable place to gather for meals or enjoy a game or conversation with family and friends.
The main level also includes a half bathroom, a queen bedroom, and a full bathroom with laundry facilities. Having both a bedroom and bathroom on the main level makes this floor convenient for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
As you travel upstairs, the cabin's two additional bedrooms await. The primary upstairs bedroom features a king-sized bed and Smart TV, while the second bedroom offers two twin beds, making it a great option for children or additional guests.
The massive screened-in porch is one of the highlights of Horseshoe Hollow. With plenty of comfortable seating and room for outdoor dining, the porch is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, share a meal, or relax after a day spent exploring or fishing. Surrounded by trees and the sounds of the river, it is easy to settle in and enjoy the peaceful setting. In the fall, the surrounding woods come alive with beautiful mountain color.
Outside, guests can gather around the firepit to enjoy an evening under the stars. Whether your days are spent casting a line in the river, exploring nearby trails and waterfalls, or simply relaxing at the cabin, Horseshoe Hollow offers a private mountain retreat where you can slow down and enjoy time together.
For fishing enthusiasts, the location is hard to beat. The West Fork of the French Broad River runs directly along the property, and the surrounding area is home to hundreds of miles of well-known trout streams. Horseshoe Hollow is located in Transylvania County, the "Land of Waterfalls," with easy access to Dupont State Forest, Pisgah National Forest, Lake Toxaway, Cashiers, Highlands, and Downtown Brevard.
Please note that Horseshoe Hollow is intentionally secluded and offers the privacy and quiet of a true mountain retreat. The home is approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Brevard, so guests should plan for a scenic drive when heading into town for restaurants, shopping, or other amenities.

We very much enjoyed our vacation stay. Our family of 6 adults spent 6 days at this beautiful spot! We enjoyed the stream, the beautiful views from the deck and the wonderful fields on the property. The screened in porch on the little cabin definitely added to the charm of the place. The long driveway added to the beauty of the location, as we did have deer run across our path a few times. The driveway is a little bumpy in spots, so a slow drive on the flat part would be my suggestion, and the small stream we crossed in the highlander did not cause us any problems. Enjoyed our escape from our busy lives, would go back again.

We will definitely be returning. This is a very private and quiet place away from the rest of the world. You go through a locked gate, then drive along a long private drive, cross the bridge over the stream, and then up a hill to the cabin (4x4 is a good idea). Beautiful stream runs through the property. You can sit by the fire pit at night and listen to the stream while you enjoy the stars. The cabin itself is very good. Has just about everything you need. Bed on the first floor is comfortable, don’t know about upstairs. Don’t expect much from the internet, but you probably aren’t looking for a place like this if that’s what you want or need.
