Great location on the river and close to Punkah pub for meals! Hosts were great with communication and local knowledge.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming property in Porepunkah. The location is ideal—just a short 5–6 minute drive to Bright, yet far enough to escape the school holiday crowds. A cozy coffee and breakfast spot is only a 2-minute walk away, adding to the convenience. Judith was incredibly kind and flexible, allowing us an early check-in and a slightly late check-out. Her instructions were clear and efficient, making everything smooth from the start. The property itself is a gem—nestled right on the river with the soothing sound of a spring flowing nearby. There’s a lovely outdoor cooking area with benches, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings. Inside, the space is well laid out with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a combined living/kitchen area. All rooms are equipped with heaters, and the fireplace inside comes with plenty of firewood, adding a warm and cozy touch. The humorous wall art was a delightful surprise—my son especially loved the donkey painting! Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. This place truly offers a peaceful and memorable escape. Highly recommended!

Had a great stay at this home. It was perfect for a group of friends escaping for a long weekend. Very close to Mt Buffalo for the snow, and only a 5 minute walk from the local pub/shops and 10mins to Bright. Quiet and peaceful.
