Once a favorite spot of Ernest Hemingway, this is a very colorful part of the Left Bank. It used to be the hangout for intellectuals and artists, nowadays this Parisian neighborhood has become newly chic. Upscale small stores, international restaurants and art galleries can be found almost everywhere in Paris. For a quieter atmosphere in Paris, wander through the Luxembourg Gardens, or for more shopping, check out Rue de Rennes, where there is much to see.This super luxury apartment will enchant you by its location. The apartment has plenty of light and is centrally located very close to Metro station Place Saint Michel and only a few steps away from the beautiful cathedral of Notre Dame (850 Years anniversary celebration this year) and Orsay Museum. The river Seine is just across the street, perfect to go for a romantic stroll at night along the quai, and the youthful area of the Latin Quarter with its book shops, cafés and restaurants are 5 minutes away..
The apartment’s street, lined with 17th century town mansions, is surprisingly calm in such lively district. A carved stone face has been gazing down at people for hundreds years, as they push the heavy wood door to enter the building. Once inside, the 21st century becomes the 17th century thanks to a beautifully tended garden and open-beam walls. All food shopping and needs are also at hand. A chic open-air market, the “marché bio”, can be found at a ten to fifteen minutes walk on Blvd Raspail.

Our family of 3 couples and 1 infant stayed here for 10 days during the Olympics and it was absolutely perfect for us. The location is A+! Overlooking the Seine, with a view of Notre Dame (at an angle) from every room was a dream. We felt very secure (there are 2 security doors), but with easy access, as we only needed to go up one flight of stairs. There is also a small lift that we used for our luggage. The unit has three large bedrooms on the lower level (one king with double sinks and large tub in the room along with a bathroom including a shower, sink and toilet ensuite, one queen, and the third bedroom has 2 twins and a full bathroom attached. That bathroom also has access from the hall, so it was easy for the queen room to share that bathroom. Each of these bedrooms has windows on the Seine. Upstairs has a great room with a large sofa area with tv, a corner office area with large desk, a piano, a pool table, a dining table for 14 and a huge fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine and dishwasher and two refrigerators. There is also a bathroom on this level consisting of a toilet and sink. There are windows along the entire room looking at the Seine and Quai des Grands Augustins below. It was surprisingly quiet. The air conditioning was AWESOME in the August heat, and more than adequately kept every room cool. The manager was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again!
