Fantastic property in Keswick, perfect for a relaxing, exploring or both.

We recently spent the weekend at Borrowdale View, it's a wonderful property in a fantastic location on the outskirts of Keswick. On arrival the house was well prepared, very clean with excellent facilities. It's a short 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick and we managed to get out for two days of walking around the area. Communication prior to arrival was also excellent and overall I would highly recommend Borrowdale View, we had a great time and would definitely stay again.

We had nothing to complain about, everything was perfect.

This was a house in a great location with fantastic facilities that made our stay memorable.

The location of the property was excellent and close to plenty of activities which suited us as we didn't need to drive anywhere.

A minor point would be there were some instructions for some of the kitchen appliances but not the oven, which would have helped.

It was a lovely big house, fully kitted out, plenty parking. Beds were comfy and clean. Nice that owner asked how we wanted beds (double or twins). Very close to Keswick town centre too.

Not much we didn’t like, we were all very impressed. Only slight negative was it could have been cleaner. The floors in the living room were not clean, big hanging cobwebs in kitchen but this is just a small thing as everything else was great.

Fantastic property in the Lakes for a large group

Outstanding property for a large group. 6 bedrooms, fantastic kitchen area for socialising and huge living room. Ample parking and within walking distance of Keswick town centre. Communication with Glen was excellent throughout. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

A dog friendly area on the patio/garden would have been great. Dog gates are all around the house, if some of those got put on the patio that would be great so you could socialise on the patio and your dogs be safe. But otherwise, the house is simply awesome.

Location. Views. Space. Location was great. House was enormous! Chose this place because of the huge shared space as I booked it for my partner’s family (his parents and his 2 siblings) - so we needed a lot of space for catching up & hanging out. Really loved the big counter in the kitchen as a breakfast/drinks/chatting area. The dining table was also huge for the 7 of us. Living room was absolutely lovely and had a fantastic view of the mountains. Actually, all the rooms had a great view of the mountains. We were lucky to catch the most beautiful sunset on our first evening on check-in. Bedrooms were spacious, enough for alot of bags. All of us got our little private space, while having all that dining/living area. The house is about 10 mins stroll into town. There was a BBQ pit outside (for summer) and a lovely patio area in front of the house for warmer days. The host, Glenn, was very responsive & extremely helpful. Directions were clear. I really enjoyed this B&B and would definitely stay there again if I ever make it to the Lake District again!

Host made it really easy to access the property, no faffing around and it was spotless when we got there, proximity to keswick town centre and some great walks was brilliant, the house is bigger than even the photos make it look. Looking forward to staying again sometime in the future.

Lovely, peaceful stay with plenty of space for everyone. Very good value for money.

Location was great- easy walk into town for restaurants and shops. Very spacious house which was very clean and very well equipped. The owner was very friendly. Lovely terrace area with great views.

A towel rail or even a hook on the door in the upstairs bathroom would have been useful.

What a fantastic rental house!! It was so spacious, plenty of rooms, both bedrooms and living space, for our family of 7, 4 bathrooms to choose from, and fully stocked with everything we could need. Beautiful views from the windows. Ample parking. It was only a 5 minute walk into town. Everything was wonderful! I will look to stay here again the next time we are in Keswick!

Clean, large, crazy value for money, great location and great extra facilities which other places didn’t have such as multiple parking spaces. Honestly was such a comfortable stay and will definitely be booking again.

Maybe a larger living room tv and some essentials such as tea bags, sugar and milk in the fridge before we arrived

Fantastic in every way

It was very clean, well equipped accommodation. So much space and the coal affect fire was a big hit. Easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. The owner was extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked another stay at the beginning of the year.
