A Fabulous Stay
Everything. This was a lovely, lovely chalet that was tasteful, functional, homely with lovely spaces in a great location. The stand out feature is the large window overlooking the valley and opposite mountains that captures your heart every time you walked into the room. The bedroom/bathrooms are individual, private and comfortable. There is everything you can think of needing available and the hot tub was great for tired muscles and a glass of fizz. The service from Cimalpes is excellent including the fabulous daily cleaner. The walk to the gondola is about 5 minutes and there is a great little supermarket Proxy that sells just about everything opposite.
Cannot think of a thing. Probably needing to leave after only a week. As a post script can I please add advice to follow the small print for which it turns out there is a good reason; we were charged over Euros800 for a missing blanket on our departure. I had not done or taken an inventory on arrival and it transpires we had photo evidence of a missing blanket in the room adjacent but not the alleged room. I now make it a principle to take photos of the property on first arrival but also to check with the agent as to whether they are aware of any missing or broken items prior to commencing my rental.
