We stayed for one night during our travelling and it was simply perfect

Several issues, including the communication with the owner, significantly impacted our stay, leaving a bitter sense of having been misled. It's honestly difficult to point out anything positive: the place was dark, cold, not particularly clean, especially the bed, and didn’t reflect what was shown in the photos. We stayed for one night only, leaving in the morning as soon as possible. P.S. After contacting the customer service, I got a compensation from booking.com

The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, which was unsuccessfully masked with air freshener, making it even worse. This contradicted the description of the apartment being non-smoking. We had to keep the windows and doors open to ventilate, but this made the room uncomfortably cold. I messaged the owner who simply reflected that it is not in his responsibility if the guests smoked!!! When we attempted to turn on the heating, we realised that it was not under our control and could only be adjusted remotely by the owner. Despite being set at 20°C, the heating tubes never got remotely warn, the room never actually felt comfortable. I requested an increase to 23°C, but the owner refused, lecturing about climate changes and French government recommendations. His response was not only dismissive but also delivered in a condescending and unfriendly manner. To make matters worse, one of my family members was feeling unwell, and being in a cold, smoke-filled room with a cold bed (with the linens not tidy, leaving an impression of being used) added to the discomfort. In the end, the owner agreed to increase the temperature-on the condition that I give him a 10/10 rating! Regarding his environmental concerns, we were given a long list of instruction of what to do and not to do, including sorting the garbage. However, upon our arrival, there were no provisions for waste sorting — no garbage bags, no separate bins, nothing. Just saving money in any possible way... I must admit that I didn’t spend much time researching hotels—this one was conveniently located along our route, so I booked it without thoroughly checking the reviews. It was only after experiencing the unpleasant communication with the owner that I finally read the reviews and realised staying in this apartment was a mistake. The damage deposit of 300 EUR was returned after 2 weeks only, though in the booking conditions it says 7 days.

The actual interior of the apartment is tastefully decorated and fully appointed.

The apartment is located on the 8th floor of a large modern block of flats. This fact was kept hidden in the on-line description of the property. The location and the property have little in common with the beautiful properties elsewhere on the Ile or in Montbelliard-Bethoncourt.

Nous avons été très déçus par ce logement. Dès notre arrivée, l’hygiène laissait clairement à désirer : les joints de la salle de bains étaient noirs et moisis, les serviettes avaient l’air propres mais dégageaient une odeur désagréable de renfermé ou d’humidité. La cuisine n’était pas fonctionnelle : le four était hors service, impossible donc de nous faire chauffer nos pizzas. Quant aux casseroles et poêles, leur état laissait sérieusement à désirer et ne donnait aucune envie de s’en servir. Nous avions réservé pour 5 personnes, mais seulement deux lits doubles étaient prêts. Le canapé convertible était ouvert avec deux plaids posés dessus, et le seul drap fourni n’était pas à la bonne taille. Résultat : notre fille de 9 ans a dû dormir dessus et a passé une très mauvaise nuit, les ressorts étant extrêmement gênants. Honnêtement, il est impensable d’y faire dormir un adulte. Les toilettes étaient elles aussi décevantes : murs sales, cuvette en mauvais état, tartre incrusté au fond… Un manque évident d’entretien. Enfin, le logement se trouve dans un HLM au 8e étage, avec un ascenseur qui ne dessert que les demi-étages. L’isolation phonique est catastrophique : on entend parfaitement les bruits de canalisations et le moteur de l’ascenseur, notamment dès 5h du matin. En résumé : logement très mal entretenu, inconfortable et bruyant. Nous ne recommandons pas.

Logement spacieux, sol propre et poussières faites. Literie agréable. Bonne situation géographique de l'appartement.

Nous étions un couple et 2 adultes pour 5 nuits. Résidence des 50's mal isolée (phonique). Intérieur froid au sens propre comme figuré (thermostat bloqué et non gérable) Au salon, le petit volet ne s'ouvre pas jusqu'en haut, ni ne se ferme jusqu'en bas (problème pour la nuit) Idem pour le volet de la chambre côté jardin qui ne s'ouvre pas entièrement. 6 chaises peu confortables et pas très stables. Douche : moisissure et joints sales. WC : Abattant en bois avec traces suspectes. Prévoir de prendre vos draps pour le couchage dans le salon car rien n'est prévu sauf oreillers en plus + 1 alèse et 2 taies "blanches" d'une saleté sans nom (heureusement nous avions pu récupérer du linge de lit dans la famille pas loin). Manque balai et ramasse poussières. Cuisine : pas de produits basique type huile, vinaigre, poivre, ... (seulement du sel). 1 seule dosette pour le lave vaisselle et aucunes notices. Mitigeur évier qui se décroche, bonde HS, ustensiles vieux et insuffisants. Entre autres : 1 grd couteau de cuisine qui ne coupe pas, ciseaux rouillé ou cassé ... 2 poignées pour casseroles dont une cassée. Une casserole très sale. Pas de gros récipient de cuisson type marmite ou fait-tout. Plat à tarte à jeter. Frigo lumière HS et froid moyen. Le plus grave, le four : grille rouillée, lèche frite et intérieur du four noir de suie .... programmation HS, chaleur tournante HS. Seul le grille fonctionne... une galère pour les fêtes ! Beaucoup de traces sur les murs et autour des interrupteurs. Il est temps que cet investisseur vienne y passer une nuit et qu'il réinvestisse... et prendre en compte les évènements exceptionnels familiaux afin d'arranger les clients.
