The house is magnificent. Huge house and very well laid out. Very comfortable with plenty of room. Plenty of leftovers in the kitchen so no need to buy condiments or basic necessities.
The most amazing thing hands down though was the view. Overlooking the sound with a view of Littleton and the mountains. Just breathtaking! Keep in mind, everything has a price though, the drive to Christchurch is about an hour over Dyers pass - not good at night but if you can get past that, the view and location is totally worth it.

Awesome view
1) The location with zig-zag and twisted road
2) Host has too many rules and regulations, such a turn-off
3) The breakfast, not what I have expected.
