Our newly renovated vacation home is located on the outskirts of town with stunning panoramic views., If you’d like to wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy the company of squirrels and other wildlife, you’ve come to the right place.
Winden was first mentioned in a document from 1250 by Archbishop Arnold of Trier, according to which he had the church in Winden transferred from Countess Mechthild von Sayn to the Arnstein Monastery.
The village is situated in the heart of a diverse hiking and mountain biking area in the Westerwald, bordering the Taunus.
The panoramic view stretching far into the Taunus Mountains all the way to the Feldberg is breathtaking. Right around the house, there are several hiking and mountain biking trails that branch off into various valleys.
Horses, sheep, goats, and cows graze in the meadows and pastures surrounding the village.
In the nearby village of Holzappel, there is a small, idyllic natural lake.
This spacious apartment is high-quality furnished with hardwood floors, tile, and a pellet stove. The house is ideal for families with two children, as well as for couples looking to enjoy a few quiet days. With its two bedrooms and a large living-dining room, there is plenty of space for up to four people. It’s lovely to sit in the garden in the evening and watch the sunset; if it gets too cold, you can sit in the sunroom to enjoy the sunset.
You can use the garden to relax, barbecue, sunbathe, and play. For cyclists and mountain bikers, a carport offers ample parking space. Families in particular will feel right at home here.
The entire house, including the garden, is available for your exclusive use during your stay.
The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, coffee maker, refrigerator, and electric kettle. A gas grill is available in the garden for summer barbecues. A vacuum cleaner and all necessary supplies are provided.
Please bring your own bed linens and towels, or you can book them as an add-on.
Additionally, an information folder is provided, detailing various activities and restaurants in the surrounding area.
Check-in is available starting at 4:00 p.m., and check-out is by 10:00 a.m.
Hiking Vacation: Here in the Westerwald and the Taunus, there are a wide variety of hiking trails, ranging from relatively easy routes to challenging hikes. The hiking trails are well-marked and lead through forests, meadows, and pastures, where you can enjoy magnificent views. Here, you can hike away from the main roads in a peaceful and relaxing landscape. Just enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We’re also happy to give you tips for various day hikes with places to stop for a bite to eat. A variety of hiking maps are available in the apartment.
Relaxation: The village of Winden is situated in a quiet location. Here, children can still run around freely and carefree. But adults, too, can enjoy the peace and quiet here, far away from the stress of everyday life.

Das Haus ist in einem sehr gepflegten und neu renovierten Zustand. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der Blick ist wunderschön. Man kann hier einen erholsamen und entspannten Urlaub verbringen.

Das Haus hat einen tollen Blick. Es ist wunderschön eingerichtet und die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man brauchen kann. Es gibt sogar eine richtig schöne große Pfanne. Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Und können uns sehr gut vorstellen wieder zu kommen. Direkt am Haus kann man los wandern. Der nächste Bäcker und viele Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto in 11 Minuten erreichbar.
Also alles in allem eins mit Sternchen.

Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet.
Es ist sehr ruhig, vom Garten und vom Wintergarten hat man einen tollen Ausblick in die Umgebung.
Es ist sehr sauber.
Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt.
