Welcome to the Race Track. Step into the past and enjoy this beach home managed by Rent On Padre. It will remind you of coming to the beach when you were a kid This is one of the older homes on the island. But don't let that scare you, you have an amazing view, reserved for just you. You also have your own private beach access right from the steps of your home. You can sit on your porch and watch the waves all day and all night. This house is one of the original homes on the island. It is 4 bedrooms with 3 1/2 baths. It will sleep up to 18 people. Each bedroom has 2 full size beds and there is a futon on the lower level for 2 more people.
The downstairs area has two bedrooms and a sitting area along with the 1 1/2 bathrooms. From this floor you can walk out directly to your beach access. Imagine not sharing a beach access with anyone but the people in your group. There is also a garage with a washer and dryer. As well as a collection of beach toys.
Upstairs you will find the great room with the dining room, kitchen, and living room. This house is very comfortable for a large group. You also have an amazing deck with fabulous views. You will spend a lot of time on the deck counting the waves. You also have another two bedrooms each with their own bathroom.
Nearby activities include: Golf, Water Park (seasonal), Surf Fishing, Bay Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, Kayaking, Hiking, Fitness Center, Miniature Golf, Parasailing, Jet Skiing, Surfing, Windsurfing, Museums, Beachcombing, Horseback Riding, Movie Theater, Nightlife, and many, many, restaurants.

For the price and location this place is great. There was plenty of space for our family of 18. The place is older but the upstairs is nice. Down stairs could use a little tlc. I would definitely recommend.

This is such a great place. While it might be a little old and a lot dated(they told us), this place is great. We could have paid a lot more for something fancy, but they you have to worry about breaking things. Here, you can just relax and not worry about it. It is all about the beach anyway. It was clean and that is what counts.

Great location. Beach is right outside the back door. Walking distance to most everything you will need. Upstairs is nicer than the downstairs, but if you need extra beds downstairs is acceptable. Would stay here again.

Downstairs bedroom had a musty moldy smell. We could not use access to the beach because of high brush. There were roaches coming out from upstairs bedroom.
