Wonderful apartment that needs better maintenance

We loved the location and the view. The apartment is located in the middle of the beach which is convenient for shopping and visiting the Surfing club. The apartment feels 'homey' and relaxing. The kitchen is moderately well equipped for cooking. The coffee machines are convenient and the refrigerator is spacious. It was easy to get fresh air through the apartment by opening the sliding doors on the front and back balconies.

We stayed here one year prior and the apartment was much cleaner then. Upon our arrival this year, we needed to continue to clean the apartment. There were marks on the wall, hair and sand on the floor, shower, and furniture. The vacuum was not emptied so that also needed to be taken care of before cleaning. We were a bit disappointed this year as we had had a completely positive experience last year during our stay. We hope that the cleaning standard improves. Also the apartment maintenance needs to be improved. The hair dryer which is installed in the wall was not in working condition so make sure to bring your own. If you plan to cook then be sure to bring your own knives, as the ones in the kitchen are not even sharp enough to open the mail.

Perfekte Suite und Lounge am Meer

Traumhafter Blick , was zu erwarten war. Wohnzimmer als gemütliche Lounge zum Meer. Bodentiefe Fenster als Windschutz aber auch Balkonersatz, der aufgrund der geringen Breite allein nicht zum Verweilen einlädt, aber einen perfekten Rahmen für die Wohnzimmer Lounge bietet, somit alles je nach Wetter perfekt ist. Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und ausgestattet.

sehr schönes Apartment mir dem Meerblick!

Das Apartment hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist eine kleine, gemütliche Zweizimmerwohnung, in der wir alles hatten, was man für einen Aufenthalt braucht. Das Meer ist nur 50 Meter von der Wohnung entfernt, und man konnte alle Sonnenuntergänge vom Fenster aus anschauen und genießen. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich, und die Kommunikation hat sehr gut geklappt.

Klein maar mooi appartement op de zeedijk. Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig. Alles was netjes, handdoeken en lakens aanwezig. Prima uitvalsbasis voor een paar daagjes zee!

Tolle Aussicht, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet

Der Blick auf das Meer ist sehr schön. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist gehobener Standart und lässt bei der Ausstattung der Küche kaum Wünsche offen. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern ist sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Das Badezimmer ist sehr klein mit kaum Ablageflächen. Die Toilette ist seitlich ca. 10 cm und nach vorne ca. 35 cm von der Wand entfernt. Die Nutzung ist für große Menschen oder jene mit größerem Körperumfang fast nicht möglich. Das gleiche gilt für den Treppenaufgang. Dieser ist extrem schmal. Die Dusche war teilweise neu verputzt aber nicht abschließend neu gestrichen bzw. veredelt. Das sah nicht nur unschön aus, sondern ließ den Putz auch beim Duschen in die Duschwanne rieseln. Die Betten haben eher harte Matratzen und sind für uns sehr unbequem gewesen, da wir zuhause sehr weiche Matratzen nutzen. Für Seitenschläfer bedeutet dies Schulter- und Hüftschmerzen. Für Bauch- und Rückenschläfer sicher unproblematischer. Die kostenlosen Parkplätze sind zwar vorhanden, allerdings ist es schwierig einen zu bekommen. Wir mussten lange umher „kurven“. Im Sommer sicher noch schwieriger. Zum Aus- und Beladen kann man vor die Tür fahren. Da die Promenade sehr leer war, war es unproblematisch. Der Müll kann nicht im Haus selber entsorgt werden, sondern muss für 1,- Euro etwas weiter die Straße rauf oder runter entsorgt worden.

Gezellig en goed uitgerust appartement

Het appartement is klein maar slim ingericht en mooi aangekleed, waardoor het groter lijkt dan het is. De keuken is zéér goed uitgerust, de douche was perfect en het terras met zeezicht maakt dit alles af. Het sleutelkluisje is praktisch om zelf in te checken en vlakbij (gratis) parkeren is een pluspunt. De communicatie met Tina verliep heel vlot en aangenaam. Op zich is Wenduine niet groot en valt er weinig te beleven (in de winter). De strandbar Surfing Elephant is een aanrader! Deze keer hebben we vooral zelf gekookt maar een volgende keer gaan we zeker eens wat restaurants testen. Wij vonden bakkerij Huis Avalanche geen topper. We misten de dikke witte klassieke pistolets en de ontbijtkoeken smaakten redelijk droog en aangebakken. Wel goede charcuterie/beenhouwer en kaaswinkel op wandelafstand. Chillen en bingen in de Zandkorrel deed enorm deugd! En ooh ja, voor het eerst deden we mee aan de nieuwjaarsduik, wat ook een fijne en frisse ervaring was.

De bedden zijn iets minder comfortabel naar mijn mening, en de wc is nogal benepen ;-) Het is een ouder gebouw - waar op zich niets mis mee is - maar de radio en de stemmen van de buren waren goed hoorbaar.

Wundervoller Blick auf Meer und Himmel!

Der Ausblick auf das Meer ist absolut wundervoll! Das Appartement ist renoviert, sehr gut ausgestattet und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Küchengeräte sind neu und es sind reichlich Geschirr und Kochutensilien vorhanden. Es ist sehr sauber. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da, deshalb hatten wir es sehr ruhig.

Wir hatten schon auf den Fotos gesehen, dass das Appartement sehr klein ist und nicht wie irgendwo in der Beschreibung angegeben 100qm. Der Platz reicht aber für ein Paar oder Eltern mit noch kleinen Kindern und ist gut aufgeteilt. Das Bad ist wirklich sehr klein und nur von einer Person nutzbar, was für uns aber kein wirkliches Problem darstellte.
