Varandas Golden Beach

We landed with a lovely touch which included a complimentary bottle of wine and two beers which was great! The apartment itself was very spacious, really nice big balcony overlooking the pool. The TV had all the channels and everything was easy to locate and instructions were left out. Location was great, short walk to the beach or cafes restaurants. Peaceful nights sleep as it is slightly more residential around the apartment location.

The lift in the complex would sometimes be tempermental.

Apartment was perfect, very high standard of cleanliness, close proximity to the beach, the supermarket across the road had everything we needed for meals. Plenty of tv options and very comfy couches for a nice evening in. Communication with the hosts was great and friendly. We loved our holiday and hope to return soon.

Great communication from owner before arrival. Lovely spacious organised apartment. Plenty space for toddler to run around and adults not on top of each other. Balcony very safe which was key for us with a climbing toddler. He managed to throw a toy to the balcony below but kind neighbour threw it back. Very well equipped, wouldnt need half the utensils there! Mechanical shutters to keep the place cool. Ac very effective. Supermarket across the road. Close to the beach. Lift in the building fitted 2 adults and the stroller.

We had to report a bad odour from the main bathroom on the 2nd/3rd day. We remedied it ourselves but it probably should've been noticed before we arrived. Dining options in immediate vicinity are limited but if you dont mind walking to the more central part of town then theres plenty.
