Spacious penthouse apartment to feel like you're living in Paris

Amazing apartment right around the corner from the metro. We stayed in the penthouse and while it was more expensive than a hotel, it was the perfect choice for our family of four. So much space to spread out and really feel like we were living in the city. Several bakeries and mini marts just a minute walk from the apartment and the street market almost every day gave us everything we needed to make most of our meals in the apartment. 20 minute metro ride from most of the major sites and there's no way you're going to find a place like this right downtown with the crackdown on Air bnbs.

As others have mentioned there's only one toilet for an apartment that could theoretically sleep eight people. No big deal for our family of four though. Two showers were nice to have but the hot water ran out quickly.

An excellent apartment for families

A few days before reaching our apartment we were given access to a website that guides us on accessing our apartment and how to use the equipment. This was a very nice touch in my opinion because it gave me a sense of what a great experience we were going to have. Communication was great through WhatsApp where we were able to always reach someone from Edgar’s team if needed and were answered quickly. The apartment was spacious and beautiful designed. We were welcomed by Jovencio who showed us around and helped with luggage. We were gifted a tote bag and chocolates along with a map that highlights top attractions, restaurants and cafes in Paris. Excellent for a family with kids so there’s enough room for them to run around and not feel cooped up like a hotel room. The equipment in the hotel is top quality, we were very very impressed. They even provided good quality cots and a high chair for my toddler. Lots of places to eat within walking distance, also pharmacy and grocery stores. I was happy about the cleanliness of the apartment as well, in general it is very clear that Edgar Suites focuses on the smallest details to ensure a comfortable stay for its tenants.

It was quite far from a lot of the popular places we wanted to go to. Public transport is mins away but the min traveling time would be 20-45mins. However, the area is lovely, quiet and great for families. I would prefer a spacious apartment over a small hotel room since we are a family of 5.

Excellent facilities which are clean and well presented.

It suited our needs perfectly as we were three adults needing individual rooms. It was spacious, clean and although we didn’t use the facilities other than the beds and showers there was ample kitchen facilities if required. The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms all had double beds. It was perfectly situated with really lovely bars and eating places close by and as we used it to attend the French Open it was within 15/20 mins walk from Roland Garros.

There is very little wrong with the property, one small issue was the size of the wash hand basin in the bedroom, not easy to use due to its small size but we still had the main bathroom that could be used to clean your teeth etc.

Edgar Suites is a charming accommodation in Paris. It caught my attention during booking our family’s first visit to the city. The booking on Booking.com matched the pictures perfectly, promising a spacious and comfortable space for my family of seven. The suite was well-appointed, with everything we needed for our stay conveniently located nearby. A pharmacy, supermarket, bakery, deli, McDonald’s, Asian stores, hair salon, pizza place, sushi place, and a good French restaurant were all within walking distance. There was even a bus stop and a metro station, ensuring easy access to the city’s transportation system. The staff at Edgar Suites was incredibly courteous and attentive to their clients. They were always ready to address any concerns or questions we may have had about the facility, ensuring a hassle-free stay. I highly recommend Edgar Suites to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient accommodation in Paris. It’s truly a home away from home, and I’m already planning to return for another visit. 😊

It would have been perfect if there’s an elevator in the building. We were on the 3rd floor. But this will not stop me from coming back to Edgar Suites.

Comfortable stay

Checkin was very convenient. Received codes in a message and we were able to enter on our own. This was important as our train got delayed and we were arriving 3 hrs later then planned time. Also location was very convenient with metro and bus stops just stones throw away

Excellent, we will be back to Edgar suites

We liked everything, the location of the property was excellent. Busy area with the locals but not touristic. The apartment was nicely, fresh clean linens, enough towels and wash clothes for all of us ( a family of 5). The air condition and wifi were superb. The sofa bed was very comfortable and a very good size. The goodies and the map they left us in the apartment were a very nice gesture. We were in love with the location ( Le Marois) Very convenient, a ton of boulangerie (bakeries), restaurants, supermarkets, Fruit stands and the best of it the beautiful Farmers Market that was set every morning until 2pm. Edgar, this was our first trip to Paris and we weren’t disappointed. We will definitely be back.

Very nice apartment, great communication from rental staff, nice neighborhood, but slightly out of the way.

The apartment was a great size, very clean, soap and towels were added amenities. Very convenient to metro stop.

There were upstairs guests that were noisy, soundproofing seemed to be from outside noise but noise between floors was unavoidable. It was great that we could do laundry but going back and forth with 3 flights of circular stairs was a bit dizzying.

Great stay in a spacious apartment.

A lovely apartment in a great location for exploring Paris. The communication from Edgar and his manager was really good.

The French doors had been locked because of the behaviour of previous gifts which meant that we couldn’t open onto the patio. Disappointing as the weather was hot and sunny!

Very comfortable stay away from the overcrowded central streets of Paris.

Very comfortable beds. Very nice location. About 40 minutes on metro to all the museums. Apartment is less than 2 minutes walk to metro and bus and taxi stand. Shops are less than 3 minutes walk: Supermarket. Deli. Cheese shop. Bakeries. Produce. So very easy to get breakfast, lunch, dinner. Apartment is fully equipped with an easy to use kitchen to comfortably prepare all your meals.

A great comfortable apartment for a family, very close to shops, restaurants and the transport system.

Excellent family friendly and comfortable apartment very near to great shops, restaurants, parks and the metro and bus system. The beds are really comfortable and the bathroom/shower is excellent. We liked the big table by the window where we could all breakfast and there was a nice coffee maker with coffee pods provided. The manager was there to greet us even though we were an hour late and was helpful and welcoming, making sure our requested cot and high chair were there and always available afterwards to answer any questions. We chose the location deliberately because we’d needed to access a location SW of Paris. It was a little further to the central sites of Paris but very easy via metro or the marvellous 72 bus. And a short bus ride to Bois du Boulogne with wonderful walks, the Foundation Louis Vuitton art gallery and the Garden of Attractions - a brilliant place for children. The welcome gifts provided were a lovely touch and quite unexpected. Definitely impressed by Edgar Suites.

Very little to dislike. More expensive than some but for a family of 4 adults with a 2 year old it worked out much cheaper than any hotel of the same quality.

Lovely. Would stay again!

The host met us at the time we specified and we’re flexible when our plans changed unexpectedly. There is a washer and dryer! Beds were comfy. We arrived to coffee and champagne. TV had Netflix and we were able to watch a movie after walking all day. Space was clean. Host sent a message every day asking if we needed anything. Apartment is on a major transportation hub making it easy to get anywhere in the city.

The apartment was exactly like pictured in advertisement unlike others when you discover rooms being so unfair tiny. Rooms: We had two bedrooms and a dining room with kitchen, shower room and WC. Dining room has biiiliililig round table where you could do lots of table related activities:) We had apartment #10. Safety: Nothing to mention, quite place as expected Food & drinks: We found a market on the next street so that you can get fresh food every morning, also small bakery, cheese, etc. shops as well, there's food shop arround the corner open 24/7, metro station is also nearby, so as 30 minutes to Paris center

A wonderful week in Paris

The location of the apartment is very convenient to take advantage of the Paris public transport. The taxi stand is right outside as well. It's close to the supermarket, boulangeries, and restaurants. We even had a chance to visit an open air farmers market, all accessible by foot. The area is not touristy, and we felt as though we were part of the city. The staff responded very promptly to all our requests and were amazing in accommodating them. Will definitely return if we have another chance.

This is not a big deal, but either a small sink by the toilet or a bidet/ health faucet in the toilet would be helpful, especially for children.
