NEW! Spacious, modern group lodging for 25 people, featuring two living rooms and a sunny terrace with a grill in the garden, complete with its own mountain stream. The house was completely renovated in 2020/2021, so everything is brand new!
The Steinmarkskopf house is located on the outskirts of a small village in the heart of the Sauerland, just a stone’s throw away from major attractions such as Winterberg, Willingen, Fort Fun, and the ski slopes. An ideal accommodation for groups of friends, large families, or courses, seminars, and retreats! There are 2 special parent-baby rooms designed specifically for our youngest guests.
The house is situated right on the edge of the forest—from the terrace, you can step right out into nature! Our very own mountain stream, the Dormecke, flows through our lush natural garden. Listen to the water murmur, the birds sing, and grab your binoculars to spot deer and squirrels in the forest!

The first floor of the house features a spacious kitchen with room for dining together, a living room with sofas and a TV, and a spacious garden terrace with picnic benches and a grill. The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a large refrigerator, a freezer, a 6-burner stove, 2 ovens, a microwave, and a dishwasher. On the second floor, there is an additional living room with a seating area and TV, a spacious dining area, and an extra kitchen. This allows the whole group to gather together, but also to split up. For example, parents can socialize on the first floor while the children play upstairs.
The 11 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms are located on the first, second, and third floors. These bedrooms have 2 or 3 comfortable beds with closet space, and some of them have direct access to a balcony. Two bedrooms are specially equipped for young families and feature a crib, a changing table, and a comfortable armchair in the bedroom. For those who don’t need these amenities, these are simply particularly spacious bedrooms.
The 5 bathrooms were completely renovated in 2021 and feature a luxurious walk-in shower, sink, and toilet. The living room on the first floor has an additional bathroom with a toilet and sink.
Good to know: If you book a stay with a Sunday checkout, you can take advantage of our late checkout at no extra charge. This way, you can enjoy the house all day long and make the most of your weekend! Check-out on Sunday by 8:00 p.m.

Elpe is a fantastic place for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet. Here you can hear the birds chirping, the water flowing, and the wind rustling through the trees. Pure nature. To ensure all our guests can enjoy this unique experience, we ask that you treat the environment and one another with respect and avoid causing noise disturbances for other guests.
Loud parties and loud music are, of course, not permitted. This house is not suitable for such activities.
To ensure everyone can relax fully, we observe a quiet hours policy from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. so that everyone can sleep well. Of course, we also understand that not everyone wants to go to bed that early. Please continue to enjoy spending time together indoors: inside the house with the windows closed and the music turned down or off.

Wir hatten ein schönes Familienwochenende im Haus Steinmarkskopf. Das Haus entspricht eins zu eins der Beschreibung und somit waren unseren Erwartungen erfüllt. Der Grill befindet sich zwar nicht mehr auf der hauseigenen Terrasse, sondern wenige Meter davon entfernt im Garten, so kommt der Rauch wenigstens nicht in die Schlafzimmer. Die Bäder sind alle sehr neu und modern und auch die Küche und das Wohnzimmer sind sehr gemütlich.
Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter lief ebenfalls reibungslos.
Zudem können wir die Elpe Rundwege 1 & 2 empfehlen, für kleine Wanderungen mit der Familie. Alles in allem hatten wir ein schönes Wochenende.

Ein modernes, gut eingerichtet es Haus in schöner Umgebung für Treffen mit Familien oder Freunden. Einziger Nachteil: Man muss ab 20.00h auf der Terrasse leise sein. Das gelingt mit Gruppen nicht, also muss man ins Haus gehen. Das ist verständlich, aber an Sommerabenden schade. Wir sind darum am ersten Abend zum Grillplatz am Dorfrand ausgewichen.

Die Ferienwohnung ist für eine große Gruppe sehr gut geeignet. Sie bietet viele tolle Möglichkeiten und bei tollem Wetter auch einen sehr schönen Garten inklusive kleinem Spielplatz. Wir würden dieses Haus noch einmal buchen.

Wir haben uns mit vier Generationen der Familie in diesen Haus getroffen. Von den 25 Schlafplätzen haben wir nur 13 benötigt.
Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet,war neu renoviert und super sauber. Es ist etwas verwinkelt und erstreckt sich über mehrere Etagen. Schlafbereiche sind teils einzeln anzutrennen. Es gibt sber auch genügend Platz mit der ganzen Gruppe an einem Tisch zu sitzen. Bei Anreise wurden wir kurz in Empfang genommen um den Schlüssel entgegen zu nehmen.
Check out hatten wir am Sonntag erst um 20Uhr, sodass wir den Tag noch voll ausnutzen konnten.
In dem Haus fehlt es an nichts. Alle Zimmer sind bestens ausgestattet und auch die Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen. Die beiden Babyzimmer und Hochstühle bieten auch jungen Familien einen entspannten Urlaub.
In der Umgebung haben wir Spaziergänge mit einigen Höhenmetern, aber dafür wunderbarem Ausblick unternommen.
Vom Vermieter gab es einen Tipp für einen Bäcker mit Brötchendienst. So wurden uns am Vorabend bestellte Brötchen per WhatsApp, morgens bis vor die Tür geliefert und per PayPal bezahlt. Einfacher geht es nicht.
Alle vier Generationen haben sich im Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir empfehlen das Haus gerne weiter.
