Location is ideal - literally a couple of steps and you are on the beach. Also has a wonderful patio area overlooking the beach. Very well equipped. Two of the bedrooms have great views looking out onto the beach. Style a bit dated - but very serviceable. Owner on site but not at all intrusive.
The one bedroom had a skylight which means that light streams into the room early in the morning - difficult for people who like their sleep. Would be nice to have some cover for the cars - maybe a car shade over the parking?

The location was stunning. We had the most amazing view from the property. The owner met us at the door and assisted us with our luggage. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely stay longer the next time that we are in Wilderness.

We chose the place for its location, which was as we expected. Being close to the beach, we enjoyed the walks and the dip in the ocean on occasions.
The living area was not at all what we expected. We assumed, from the photos, that the living, where one spends most of the day, would have a sea view. There was no natural light, and we had to put all the lights on during the day. Two of the bedrooms have sliding doors leading onto a patio with stunning sea views. The third bedroom has no view at all. The house consists of three levels, one of which is occupied by the owner. Their level of living quarters appears to face the sea, which was what we would have expected. Their photos can be misleading. For the price we paid, we expected a better position in relation to what we got.
