Comfy Apart with Fantastic View in Heart of Park

We loved this comfy apartment with a lovely view overlooking the Danube. Definitely a “ten” and would stay again. Easy communication with host, who also gave good recommendations for things to do (hike to arches! visit the caves!!) in addition to more obvious things. Town also hosts Visitor Center for National Park featuring interesting exhibits, maps, a film and super helpful staff.

Stay in the middle of the river Danube gorge

Most of the things, appartment is spotlessly clean, positioned just on the scenic main street restricted for pedestrians only. There´s a balconny looking into the park and river Danube, great for morning coffee/tee before you start your day. All is close by, supermarket just few steps away opened from very early in the morning until late in the evening, restaurants, quay to enjoy the river in the late afternoon walk. Neighbourhood is very friendly, so you can enjoy small chats with locals. The owner is very kind and helpful. We had all we needed and enjoyed our stay fully😀😀

Photos do not do justice to the apartment. It's completely renovated, everything is brand new and perfectly thought out from the design solutions which are fabulous ( calming in the bedroom, cheerful in the living space yet somehow both carry the same color palette ) to the practical solutions in the shower and kitchen which albeit a small one has amenities and everything you may need. You have tv's in the living room and bedroom and even a desktop computer there to browse through your news comfortably. Apartment is located perfectly, view is astonishing and danube river and the beach are just across the street. Hosts are warm and friendly, will help you whatever you may need even if not related to the apartment. We will be back and I'd recommend this apt warmly to everyone ( couples, lone travelers, families with kids, older people etc. ).

Unexpectedly cold weather and unexpectedly warm stay

Apartment is completely refurbished and everything is working and just is like on the photos. Donji Milanovac is a small town, but the view from this apartment can not be described by words or photos. It has to be seen. Location is few hundred meters from Danube river, near the town center, but quiet. Great internet connection. Desktop PC on our disposal was very nice bonus option. Great "burek" in a bakery around the corner. Supermarket and a bank nearby. The owner was very helpful and welcoming.

The front door had to be handled tenderly because of the strange "talking" automatic lock. But nothing one couldn't handle.

Outstanding place to stay in this lovely part of Serbia.

Hosts are wonderful and super helpful. The apartment itself is newly deviated and has everything you could want from fast internet to comfy bed to great shower. Highly recommend this place for a great weekend or longer stay! Oh and the Danube view isn’t too shabby either. 😃

Ich war positiv überrascht und würde definitiv wieder buchen!

Lage perfekt. Direkter Blick auf die Donau. Das Apartment sieht auf den Bildern „schlechter“ aus als es tatsächlich ist. Beim betreten merkt man direkt wie die Bilder dem Apartment nicht gerecht werden. Sehr gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer riecht nicht irgendwann unangenehm wie in vielen anderen Unterkünften in Milanovac oder ganz Serbien. Ich würde für die nächste Runde auf jeden Fall wieder dieses Apartment buchen!

Betten waren etwas ungemütlich, keine richtigen Decken. Eher Decken wie man sie auf der Couch nutzt und die Handtücher haben etwas eigenartig gerochen nach dem benutzen.

Terasa je nešto! Mirno okruženej sa prelepim pogledom na Dunav i dobra baza za obilazak okolnih znamenitosti kojih nikako ne manjka. Stvarno smo uživali i nadamo se skorom povratku.)
