This unique and luxurious property is located in Bankers Hill, one of the best residential neighborhoods in San Diego, right in between the Bay and Balboa Park, so relaxing and peaceful yet close to literally everything SD has to offer. The studio is attached to a magical beautiful Victorian House, designated by the City of San Diego as an historical site. It's completely independent and has its own entrance. All areas including the outdoor amenities and tub are for your exclusive use, no oner else has access to them.
Within minutes to San Diego’s Finest restaurants, bars, shops, Balboa Park, Museums, Theaters, Balboa Golf Course and many other attractions. Beautiful Little Italy is only blocks down the street. Should you choose to stay in, for a relaxing night of grilling or cooking at home you will find within a few minutes Whole Foods, Vons, Ralph's Trader Joe's, The charming Little Italy farmers market on Saturdays and more; Within a five minute drive you will be in The Convention Center, the famous and beautiful SD Zoo, Downtown San Diego and the exiting Gas Lamp District, the Airport, Seaport Village, Petco Park (home of Padres baseball team), Embarcadero, Fashion Valley mall, North Park, Qualcomm Stadium, historic Old Town, the Marina, and many of the best restaurants, nightclubs, bars and sites in beautiful San Diego, American Finest City. In sunny San Diego, nothing is better than barbecuing right by the garden; this area is equipped with a grill, dining table, hot tub and more outdoor amenities. No one else has access to this area but you.
A bus stop is available very close to the house and the trolley station is also minutes away. A few blocks from the house you will find amazing Balboa Park and it's dog park for the fur babies to enjoy.

Clean, comfortable and everything a short term guest would need. A nice kitchen if desired and a fabulous fenced yard with jacuzzi, bbq or ! Host was wonderful and professionally attentive!Parking spot was a plus!

Such a great location—close to everything! It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. We loved the hot tub and the bikes, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The only thing I missed was a full-length mirror (lol), but overall it was wonderful. I’d definitely stay here again next time I’m in San Diego!

This was the second time either my family or I stayed at this gem in Hillcrest. As always, it was incredibly clean, peaceful, and the perfect location to visit the zoo, beaches, and fabulous restaurants. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in San Diego!

Pros: The studio was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The area is also very quiet (except when the apartment building across the alley has a sewer line break, and workers are jackhammering through concrete all day-obviously no one’s fault). The outdoor space is pretty and the hot tub wonderful to relax in. It’s great to have a washer and dryer. We also loved that we could take our dog for an extra fee. Cons: We gave 3 stars because the bathroom fan did not work and the window in the bath did not open. There is no drawer space or horizontal space upon which to put items, which I guess I should have realized from the photos. The kitchen area table is the size of a belly bar, so there is no work space. The space could easily hold a larger table and chairs. The bedside tables are tiny, too, and had water damage, likely because there are no coasters upon which to put drinks. There were also no tissues in an otherwise well stocked large studio. In our 10 night stay, no one came to clean the hot tub, which began to smell like that was needed. I messaged the owner, and it was taken care of within an hour. I had just expected it to be done weekly, automatically.Note that while the description says the studio could sleep 3, it would not. There is a love seat, no sofa (and it does not fold out).
