Beautiful property, excellent location, we booked it as we were attending a wedding in a nearby hotel. It’s very close to the hotel. The owner was lovely, great communication. Would highly recommend.

The best experience I've ever had

Staying at the River Shack was, without a doubt, the best experience I've ever had renting a property anywhere I've ever traveled. It was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The amenities were top class. The hosts, Martina and Pat, were absolutely lovely. They responded quickly to every question I had and made my stay enjoyable. If you see this property available, snatch it up. You won't regret it. The only downside was I had to leave when my stay was over.

Very comfortable , well equipped property in an excellent location to walk the cliffs of Moher (the part that’s open from Doolin) and catch ferries to Aran islands. Good local pubs within easy walking distance. Hosts, Martina and Pat vert hospitable .

Great location for exploring Cliffs of Moher and the Burren

Well positioned for the restaurants and pubs in Doolin and only a short distance from Cliffs of Moher. Well equipped and very comfortable. Host was very responsive

Really only minor points like lack of hangers and space for clothes. Fine for weekend break, but we were there a week. A light over dining table would be good. But these are all minor matters.

We were staying in doolin for a wedding and this property was literally 2 minutes across the road from the hotel. The property was very spacious and bright.

great stay, fab apartment, superb customer service

beautiful apartment, 2 bedrooms each with en-suite, fully equipped kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher. there was a power cut one of the evening we were there for only a short time and the owner rang immediately to see if we were ok, then her hubby called to us to see if we needed anything- really impressive customer service- thanks Martina and Pat!

Perfect place to stay in Doolin for a family.

I loved everything about this place. Friendly and helpful host, the apartment was so adorable and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. The house was decorated for Christmas. Location is right next to the pubs and with a perfect view of the river in Doolin. I’m loved this place!

Perfect, modern Irish cottage stay

Our stay at the River Shack absolutely blew our expectations! The photos don't do the space justice, it is a proper little house/cottage and was very spacious and modern. So warm, beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms and the kitchen was perfect for what we needed. The hosts were so kind and lovely, Martina even brought us milk and coffee/bread/butter from her own house when we couldn't make it to the larger shop (we didn't have a car). Amazing stay, can't rate it enough!!

We had some trouble with the wifi but to be fair we never asked for help with it

Modern house in a great location

Martina and Pat were great hosts. They were very responsive and made sure our requests were looked after. The house has been made to top spec and has a wonderful location, right in the middle of the town. Doolin port and Doolin cave are just over 8mins of drive.

Instructions on turning the heating ON would've been very helpful.

Magic Place in Doolin

Was incredible so clean, fresh, everything was just perfect....home from home ! Can't say enough good things about this accommodation and the location just right, in the middle of everything yet so peaceful. The hosts Martina and Pat lovely friendly people, they also have a beautiful friendly dog. We will defo be back 😉
