Ferienhaus Bärbelstein Barbarossa

Die Unterkunft war geräumig, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Ich hatte es nicht weit zum Fahrtechnikkurs nach Dahn. Die Betreiber des Apartments waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei auftretenden Problemen.

Man könnte an der Kellertür etwas machen, da der Schlüssel sehr schwer zum abziehen geht. Im Bad konnte ich das Fenster nicht ausstellen, nur öffnen, vielleicht könnte man da noch etwas machen. Vielleicht auch ein Fehler von mir, aber ich sah keinen Hebel zum umstellen.

Die Nähe zur Burg und zu den Wanderwegen.

Dass die Wohnung zur Straße gelegen hat und dadurch sehr laut war, auch die Kirchenglocken waren zu manchen Uhrzeiten sehr störend.

The room was very nice, clean and well equipped with everything (incl. kitchen) you need for a 1 week stay. The owners were very responsive about questions and answered via messenger everything within few hours.

Unfortunately, there were 2 negative things: - I was parking my car according to the instructions on a photo and intentionally chose the space on a small grass area as I didn't want to block the area in front of the garage - it looked like a way to some entrance or exit doors. Next day probably one of the owners approached me in a mildly polite voice that I shouldn't park on the grass area (as indicated on the photos!) as long as the other areas were not occupied. - I was there for a bike seminar with 6 days of full day workouts and trainings. Therefore I was happy to get back, take a shower, calm down, have some dinner and sleep. What I didn't know was, that this facility was the building next to the church with the bell every 15 minutes from 6 in the mornings until 22:00 including Sunday. Although everything was brilliant during my stay and it is a great facility, I didn't catch enough sleep for recovery.
