Cute and cozy, great location, infrastructure issues dampened our experience

The location was great. The cabin and area were cute and cozy.

From the day we arrived we had problems with the hot water. The second evening at The Finch House, after a second freezing/damgerously hot shower, I contacted management to report the problem. The management team attempted to get a plumber on Wednesday, that didn't happened. The plumbers arrived around 7:15pm on Thursday night. They replicated the problem and left, we waited until 1020pm for them to return to fix the problem but they did not. That marked a 4th night of cool showers. Friday afternoon we were notified that they plumbers were coming back that evening to replace the hot water heater. They arrived around 730pm and attempted to fix the hot water heater but were unsuccessful. They did offer to go get the parts they needed and return, but it was 815pm by then and we have small children that needed to go to sleep. Friday night marked the 5th night of not great showering conditions. The management team did communicate with us through the entire process, which we appreciated, but over all the entire process put a damper on our stay at The Finch House.

This house was so magical. Beautiful and so dreamy. Comfortable for our family of four and well stocked with the kitchen essentials. It was a great place to unwind and connect with nature. We absolutely loved Finch House and recommend it 100%.

It was dirty, teeth flosswr, a bunch of dead bugs, eye lash tool found, open condom pack, dishes were DIRTY, slimy water, calcium and gunk buildup around the faucet.

I enjoyed the cozy look of the wooden walls and ceilings. The treehouse theme was really fun and I think in a cooler month we would have enjoyed the property even more.

My only complaint was that the air-conditioning was a bit weak.

Cute treehouse style but needs better ac.

It was a cool property. The kids loved the tree house style.

The grounds are a bit run down since the pictures were taken. We stayed when it was 100 degrees and the little mini split could not keep up with those tall ceilings and floor that was not insulated. The bathroom has no ac at all.

The room could be cleaner dirt under mattress and on window sill the large upper windows were dirty the corn hole game has some rebar sticking up that’s a hazard the swing under the finch house has a broken slat that pinches when you sit on it and the house could use a couch instead of a single chair not a lot of seating the chairs at the table are wobbly may need to check hardware or replace and a couple more spots to hang clothes would be helpful

The property was situated away from the hustle and bustle of the town. It was secluded and wonderful! We saw deer and heard the most beautiful birds in the morning.

Pictures overstate the experience, a truely off the grid property lacking connectivity.

Unique, close proximity to an event we were in town for.

Wi-Fi connection is spotty at best, a single satellite connection utilized for all units on the property. In unit Wi-Fi extender non functional, safety issue as with no cellular service in the area Wi-Fi calling is the only way to reach emergency services. Television was not functional during our stay due to a software update required for the television to start. Software update was unable to perform due to lack of WiFi connectivity in the unit. No fan in the bathroom was an annoyance after a shower. As well as an annoyance after using the facilities unable to exhaust any smells. In unit heating was under sized to support the heating needs, more/heavier blankets should be provided for non-summer months.

Small out of the way cabin

This was a rustic cabin in the country with two queen beds tucked into two cubby holes and a small loft with a single bed with pull-out. Kitchen was small with only a hotplate to cook on, insufficient utensils, and a small refrigerator. The hot water in the shower had very low water pressure and not very hot. Not a problem for warm, hot days, but an issues for cooler weather. If you love camping, then you will like this place. It is out of the way and definitely has a camping atmosphere. Rental agreement was over the top.

beautiful country location. Saw numerous deer and a bobcat while driving to location. So quiet and peaceful. Nice water fall and pond.

had trouble with door lock. Also, hot water in shower was a real problem. Pressure not consistent and lost hot water and stayed cold during shower.

Peaceful place and beautiful set up

The things I didn't like was that it's was a scorpions in side the house and the internet it was really weak since there no signal for phone service I think internet should be a great concern to have a way to communicate with people in case of and emergency. Everything else was great.
