The Space:

Just off the Piazza Lucina on the first floor of this 17th century Palazzo is this spacious and elegant 110 sq.mt. two bedroom apartment with living room, plus separate kitchen with dining area seating 4. Large double-glazed windows provide both silence and plenty of light. A beautiful new bathroom with roman tiles, and bright modern kitchen complete the picture.
Da Leone's hip designer furnishings and clean lines are a bright surprise within one of Rome's old palaces in the heart of the Historic Centre, "Il Centro Storico" of Rome.
The apartment is quiet, has all the mod cons, including WIFI, microwave, automatic espresso machine, clothes washer, dishwasher, plus a portiere and an elevator.
A short walk to Spanish Steps, shopping, museums, and Metro stop makes it an ideal location. You will love this tastefully restored apartment in a modern idiom "a la Philippe Starck".

The Neighborhood:
Leave your door and enter into the beautiful and chic Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina, one of Rome's historic Piazzas, and just a short walk to the Spanish Steps (yet your apartment is peaceful). You will be walking distances to all the major sites, plus Via Condotti shopping, great restaurants, gelaterias, cafes, bars and intimate trattorias. A wonderful outdoor market is an easy walk away for daily shopping of the freshest fruits and vegetables imaginable.
Getting Around:
It is approximately a 5 minute walk from "Spagna" Metro station (at "Piazza di Spagna", line A). 7 minutes walk to Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and a 12 minutes walk to St. Peter’s Square.
Other Things to Note:
This property includes access to a private chef (available at an additional cost). For privacy and security reasons, outside chef or catering services are not permitted.

This apartment is beautiful and in a perfect location. Great restaurants and shopping nearby. Management was wonderful to work with, great communication and left treats for us. Fantastic stay!

We loved the welcome basket, wine and personal visit from both the Housekeepers and Property Manager. We were disappointed that we could not open the windows at night for security reasons. The lighting needs to be reviewed by the property manager. There were a number of lights not working. Location Great. Next to the fabulous Matricianella. Walk to Vatican - 20 minutes.

Communication was seamless from start to finish. Sara welcomed us at the unit, walked us through everything, and made the check-in process effortless.We especially appreciated the detailed link they provided with all the essential apartment information, along with great restaurant recommendations. The apartment itself was spotless and stocked with everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been better.We would absolutely stay here again.

The first thing I'd like to mention is the company that takes care of this apartment : Susan and her assistant were easy to reach. They organized our transfert from the Airport and back. This already took care of that stress. Adriana (I hope I got her name right! A lovely lady!) was there to great us. She had brought milk and fruit; answered all our questions and left us a very detailed booklet for anything we could need. One day, I wrote to her saying I was looking for a grocery store. I got an email back with a detailed plan how to get to two stores! They sent us mails regularly to see if everything was fine and it was. So just for that, it's worth staying there.The other reason is the location : we wanted to walk and so, we walked everywhere. About 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain, 20 minutes or so to the Colosseum, 30 min. to the Vatican. If you like a chic neighbourhood, you've got it : the Via die Condotti is around the corner!The apartment was clean, the beds, comfortable and the living room was enjoyable too. The kitchen had all the required amenities.For us : location, beds and services were important. There are things though that could bother other people : the fact that the windows, except for the one in the living room and one room, face a yard where the air conditioning systems are installed. When the windows are closed, it's not a problem, but if you like to open windows, it will be noisy, that's for sure.We all loved it. Part of a great vacation!
