A great home far from all the fuss

The houses are in a secluded area, overlooking a beautiful valley. The views are simply stunning. The owner helped us get a tour of Ledena Pećina (a stalactite cave nearby).

Beautiful scenery and a cosy place

The cottage is equipped with everything you need except a washing machine and a worktop in the kitchen. The owner is very kind and helpful. The views are magnificent. The kitchen is equipped with necessary pans and pots as well as salt, sugar and even spices. The bed wasa comfortable. Rakija provided by the owner is waiting in the fridge for you upon arrival :-)

There is some issue with the water pressure in the cottage. When you are taking a shower, there is a very slow water current and since the water is very soft, it takes ages to wash the soap off your body. After a few minutes suddenly some water pump started working and the water pressure was good. The bathroom definitely needs some repairs - the water hose in the shower is leaking and the toilet lid is broken. The water pump works very loud so I had to wait a while before I fell asleep. Its a bit hard to get to if you only follow Google Maps. You must continue driving the road until you reach a wodden sign with Markove Kolibe on it, which is showing the direction.

Beautiful views nicely decorated cottage very comfortable beds and close to excellent walking trails to viewing nature… host also provided tour options and welcome drinks as well as local food specials

Superb

Great location, you can reach the viewpoint by foot. Vojo and his family are great hosts, they explain you what to need to see while visiting Uvac and help you with booking the boat trip. They also serve the best pancakes near the viewpoint.

Exceptional

Remote location on the top of the hill, overlooking green pastures and neighboring hills. Nature at it's best! Cabins are secluded and all have amazing views. Don't miss out sunsets and sunrises here-it's priceless. Cabin 1 where we stayed is spacious, has living room, bathroom, kitchen and bedroom downstairs and two more bedrooms upstairs. Clean, tidy and well equipped, cabin is a home away from home. Hosts are very kind and organized us a boat tour on Uvac. They own a cute little cafe very close to a viewpoint on the top of the hill where they will make you coffee and explain where to go and what to do while there. All in all, we loved it and will most definitely come again.

Everything was perfect. The view, the peace and serenity high in the mountains. A shirt walk to the beautiful views over the Uvac river. The kolibe was a perfect mountain getaway with all the facilities that one can need. Definitely recommend!

The view was amazing. The owner is very friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful. The cottage is spacious and spotless! We had a fantastic experience staying in Markove Kolibe and would reallly recommend it👍🏼😍 Special thanks to Vojo😁

Is a beautiful wooden house in the middle of nowhere with scenic view. The canyon is half an hour easy walk from the property.

Ten kilometres of unpaved road leads to the house. It is located a little bit far from the neighbouring town.

We loved our stay at Markove Kolibe. The view is to die for and the hosts are very welcoming. We were thrilled to be shown around their farm and to try milking their cow! The accommodation is clean and comfortable but it's the nature around it that is really special. Just be ready for driving on some dirt roads to get there!

What a beautiful and untouched place, friendly locals, just perfect.

The view from the cabin is unbelievable, it's so beautiful. A lesser known, very beautiful viewpoint over Uvac is just 40 minutes walking from the cabin. In general, the area is quiet but still not so hard to reach by car. A perfect place for a relaxing and revitalising holiday. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped.

The water pressure is low, but you are on top of a mountain so it's not really a negative point.

A localizaçao era excelente, no meio de campo.

Estranhamente, foi-nos atribuída a cabana 1cabana 1 , quando todas as restantes - que aparentavam ter melhores condiçoes - se encontravam desocupadas. Esta cabana 1 apresentava problemas de limpeza, falta de privacidade (nao havia uma unica janela com cortinas) e pouco cuidada.

Izuzetno, mir i tišina

Za onog ko želi da pobegne od gradske vreve, ovaj smeštaj je idealan izbor. Pogled iz dnevne sobe je sjajan, pogotovo rano ujutru. Čistoća je na visokom nivou, kao i opremljenost smeštaja. Domaćin je veoma ljubazan i bilo je lako dogovoriti se sa njim oko svega. Sve pohvale!
