A decent apartment close to the beach

The apartment is very close to the beach and the neighbourhood is quiet

Great place for short stay.

Property had everything what we needed for 2 night stay for 2 ppl. I appreciated washing liquid and sponge, sole, toilet paper and even coffee and tea. Sounds like a basic but not many apartments have it. Nice location, easy check in and check out.

We could not lock the window but the external bars were there so completely safe. System to open a gate through only one phone was not ideal. We always had to come back home together otherwise the gate to the apparent would not open. System should allow multiple phones to open the gate .

A hidden gem, and a bargain.

The phrase "small but perfectly formed" is totally appropriate for this lovely little bolt-hole. Communication from the owner is timely and detailed (admittedly it needs to be as there is quite a lot to explain about how to access the apartment, but follow the instructions clearly and make sure you can get online before you arrive, and it all goes smoothly). Special thanks to the cleaner who was on site as I left; she immediately realised that I had left my house key on the key ring and saved me from a nightmare by catching me while I was in shouting distance. Would I use this place again? 100%.

Stairs/ladder up to the bed are a little steep, so it's best to come down backwards. That's it. Oh, and although it IS possible to walk here from the airport (which i did) I don't recommend the experience as the rough paths play havoc with your baggage wheels!

The place was clean, nice, close to the beach. The access to the property was really easy if you READ the message received. The space wasn’t small and anyway it specifies BEFORE you book it.

Unfriendly host, sand on the bed and ants in the fridge

The apartment was close to the beach, a 5 minuts walk.

After I booked I received a not very welcoming long e-mail completely in Spanish with a lot of rules of the apartment. All the communication I received was in Spanish which doesn't feel very hospitable. We were there with the big power breakdown and we couldn't translate the information because there was no internet. The lady who let us in was very unfriendly and treated us if we were trying to get in there illegaly. I had to search for the code and tell her what the code of the codebox was. It would be nice if she asked for our name. The location is not very safe. You can only get out with two keys, for two different doors, which is unsafe in case of an emergency. The bed was not clean. There was sand or something on the topsheets. The couch under the bed was smelly and really uncomfortable. You cannot sleep with the window open because just outside the window there is a bench which is used by the local noisy drunk. You can park nearby for free. For the host: you could send an welcoming mail in English and Spanish (ask chatGPT for help if needed) not to long. That would help a lot. And make sure you can get out without a key. It's not nice nor safe to feel locked in. Take care of the cleaning, it should be clean.

The worst experience of my life in terms of attitude.

When I arrived at the property address, on Calle Manuel Assiego Codes (a multi-directional street), I was faced with a situation with no way out and with a total refusal to offer me support, the attitude being to be practically left in the street at night, motivating that they do not offer any support after 11:00 PM, according to their ... terms and conditions. What really happened. At 21:00 I arrived at the scheduled time at the RecordGo rental car company at Malaga airport to pick up a car from a class that I already selected when booking: SUV Automatic with navigation system (Seat Arona or Similar!). They asked me to wait for a car with the requested characteristics to become available, and after waiting for more than one hour they offered me a Fiat 500XDOLCEX, without a navigation system!!!. I refused and I had to wait another 30 minutes to receive not an SUV but a Volkswagen Golf, this time with a navigation system. In summary, I arrived at RecordGo without delay, and they are the ones who did not respect ... the terms and conditions, behaving incompetently, abusively and venally, being the only reason why I ended up in the given situation. And so I arrive at the contrast of attitudes, the only one that matters in the hotel rating. Instead, I met a couple with an empathetic attitude and the desire to help, who dedicated two hours of their time to me in the middle of the night, insisting on contacting by phone the property to facilitate the resolution of a case where the fault does not actually belong to me. Finally, faced with the inflexible decision not to offer me any accommodation, they decided to offer me their apartment for one night, also listed on Booking, for a modest price. A review does not just mean ... terms and conditions, it means emotional impact, it means empathy, that is, feeling towards clients, solicitude towards their requests. I just contrasted two opposite attitudes to help future clients to better asses the attitude of this property.

Good value for money. Clean and convenient.

Clean apartment, nice quiet safe area. Very good AC to keep us cool from the heat and good amenities. Fast WIFI. Very close to the beach and restaurants. Bus stop to the city centre is a short 5 min walk away. Check in instructions straightforward.

We were expecting two beds but we were put in the apartment with a double bed but this wasn't an issue for me and my friend. The shower is missing a sliding door so the bathroom floor was a bit wet during showers.

the apartment was underwhelming with a bed that i couldn’t fit in (i am 6’). the washroom shower was lacking a slide door and water was going everywhere.

It was very close to the bench, there ste a few restaurants around, a supermarket, it wasn't too far from the town center if you like walking is only 30mns to the town Taxi from the flat to the airport was only £10.

Perfect short stay in Malaga

The apartment itself it was small but functional, with everything you would need for a few days, however, we stayed just one night. Pretty modern but also cozy touch. Beach was literally 5 min away with different shops & restaurants. Very convenient for the price!

The bathroom extractor fan sometimes it’s very loud, but suddenly goes back to normal. The area is quite far away from the Malaga city centre and parking can be a bit tricky, but honestly no big deal.

Apartments for young people

1) Good equipped, there are a lot of sockets all over the room. 2) Automated check-in, my husband was happy to pass the door unlocking quest..:) 3) There was free parking place in front to the appartment. 4) Convinient sofa (we did not use the bed upstairs as I am a disabled). 5) 5 min walk to the sea.

It was cold. When we araived the window was opened and it was 16 deggrees. The air conditioning was good, it makes the room worm in 1 hour, BUT it dit not hepl as it was the hole 15 sm in diameter to outside the bilding in the coridor of the appartments block. And appartmant door had a cracks all over to the coridor. So all night long the cold air blow inside to the room directly to my sliping place, so I could not sleep at all.

Greatly located apartment

Very convenient location, the beach is a short walk and there are plenty of bus lines around. The neighborhood is quiet and the apartment is quite comfortable for its size.

Well there is zero privacy at the toilet, as if there is no door almost. Pay attention to this small detail if you are at the honeymoon stage of your relationship.

Nice place in a great location.

Great location. Host was very responsive to questions. Great price. Apartment was very clean on arrival.

In need of some minor repairs (A very nice and heavy duty shower head flew out of its bracket when the water was turned on. This could result in a foot or tow injury. There was also a small leak that resulted in water accumulation on the bathroom floor. Three sides of the bed (head, foot, and one side) were all against a wall. My wife and I are both six feet tall and it wasn’t an issue for us. People who are two or three inches taller won’t be able too fully stretch out in the bed.

Close to the water though far from the center. Supermarket was close.

We had to find the public parking so they don't have their own parking but you have to search for one. Streets are so narrow that it's impossible to park over there because you have to think all the time will someone scratch it. Best way is to park in the big street behind, if you find a parking space.

The house was ok (although not so good as the score suggests) but very very small. Mostly, the sink is tiny and uncomfortable to use. All that aside, the host told us we could leave the baggage before the check-in (we arrived at 11am and it wasn’t possible to have the check-in before 15pm). However, when we arrived he didn’t respond to any text or call. We had to spend half the day on the beach with all our baggage.

Perfect little apartment in a great location, close to an animated beach. Small kitchen that we didn't use much, but it's always underestimated how much one needs a fridge in hot weather. Small bedroom but great for a short escape and nice bathroom.

The location was great, far away from touristic hectic areas. This is a place where one can experience living among the locals. The apartment was clean, and equipped with whatever one may need during the short stay. The area was quiet during the night.

The bed and the sofa bed were uncomfortable, the pillows were also uncomfortable. The beding including duvet and pillow sheets were old giving the impression that they are dirty. The room is too small. It is therefore necessary to leave the window open to get enough oxygen during sleeping, specially because Malaga has high humidity and this makes breathing a bit difficult. In case of leaving the window open, there are mosquitos. The problem could easily be solved if the owners set mosquito net on the windows. On the walls, there were remains of killed mosquitos and their blood, which was a bit disgusting.
