Harbour Bridge Waterfront

Well equipped and spacious. Super convenient getting to CTICC and back with only a 5 min walk. Secure underground parking a bonus! Lovely balcony overlooking canal. There was a problem with the balcony sliding door and the host got it sorted immediately. Good communication and friendly host.

If you’re a light sleeper you may be kept awake at night by the bright light shining through the gaps in the blinds. But this is such a minor thing it pales in comparison to how wonderful the stay was!

Walking distance from the CTICC and surrounds, and a good quality cafe and other restaurants in the area. The apartment was well stocked with sufficient crockery, and the appliances mentioned on the booking were all there. The host responded to messages quite readily.

There was some confusion around the check-in process. I initially arranged for a host to meet me, but after asking for further details, this was changed to self check-in. While this was manageable, it would have been useful for someone to be present to note the apartment’s condition on arrival, as the host appeared unaware of the level of wear. 1) The inside door frame is loose, making the door difficult to open and close without some manoeuvring and force. 2) There was bleach residue on the counters and shelves. With no ventilation when the main and balcony doors are closed, the apartment had a strong chlorine smell on arrival. 3) The microwave and washing machine show external wear. The microwave was peeling and rusted inside, and the toaster still had crumbs from previous use. 4) The front left couch leg came off when the couch was moved. After reattaching it, I noticed existing wear marks on the leg. 5) There was no cleaning cloth available, so I had to make alternative arrangements to clean these items.

Spacious,Quiet, clean and no one bothers you during your stay. Walkable distance to the V&A Waterfront and CTICC I totally enjoyed my stay and highly recommend.

The blinds are a big issue; they do not cover the window properly, and the unit is in serious need of curtains to reduce noise and can lights. I can provide a photo of what it looks like at night; the feeling of sleeping in a disco is an understatement. 2. Lack of mirrors to do your hair. If you use a blow dryer, there is no mirror close by.
