The location felt a little strange initially as it felt like we were driving into nowhere. But when we got to the house, things were clean and ordered. Everything was easy to find. We found ourselves very comfortable.
I don't know that anything needed to be 'better' per se. The extra fees were VERY high, we paid more in fees than we did for the rental itself. I saw some reviews mentioned it was dirty, that was not our experience at all. We found it very clean.

Location was good, close to some great little cafes for breakfast and lunch and close to Magnolia, which is why we went to Waco. Well appointed and comfy rooms.
Everything was clean except the floors. Not sure if it was an oversight, but we were walking barefoot around the house and our feet were black. Also, there was a funky smell in the house, could have been dampness. Windows at front were broken.

Within a short drive to all we needed and wanted.
Plug in air fresheners were strong when we arrived so we simply unplugged them.

Spacious and well decorated. When I arrived in the evening, the lights were already on ... it was welcoming. It was a quick drive to downtown Waco and Baylor
Limited dishes (3 plates, 4 bowls, 1 wine glass, few pans), mice, buckets of standing water under the sink. I had initially intended to travel with a larger group and would've been very disappointed to not have enough plates, especially since it sleeps 6. We never used the kitchen so I cant comment on its functionality. The mice kept me up at night and there were droppings on the floor on our 2nd day. I did message the property manager and they said they would look into it. From the comments in the guest book, the leaky sink had been there for a few weeks at least. I was surprised it hadn't been addressed prior to my stay. In the end I was just glad that the rest of the group decided not to come. It was just me and my daughter and we were hardly there.
