About this cabin rental
Tucked into ten private and forested acres, our cabin sits beside thousands more of protected wilderness. It serves as a perfect basecamp for year-round outdoor activities and it offers a peaceful retreat from the everyday. It's a special place to spend quality time with family and friends, and to reconnect with the natural world.
Inside, the first floor offers an open layout where a striking free-standing stone fireplace is the centerpiece of the vaulted great room. Settle into the comfortable couches and enjoy the warmth of the fire – ideal for cozy evenings or roasting s'mores.
A 55" smart tv and high-quality music options let you create whatever vibe you are looking for.
The well-equipped kitchen features a breakfast bar and a gigantic dining table that's perfect for enjoying family-style meals, puzzles, and boardgames.
Up the cantilevered staircase, you'll find three comfortable bedrooms, a cozy nook with a queen-size futon, and a second full bathroom.
Step out onto the back deck to relax in the hot tub, laze on the swing, or share a meal at the large dining table that overlooks the quiet forest. The backyard also offers a fire pit and a charcoal grilling station, ideal for evenings spent together.
As you gaze out into the surrounding state forest, keep an eye out for local wildlife – guests often spot deer and sometimes even black bears. For your privacy and quiet enjoyment, the cabin is set hundreds of feet from the road and is not part of a typical Pocono community.

The area offers a wealth of nearby activities. Explore miles of hiking trails, go fishing or canoeing on local lakes and rivers, or access the Maple Run Trailhead with your ATVs. The hosts were incredibly fast in responding and the cabin was perfect. Despite having over a foot of snow fall the week of us visiting, the driveway and walking areas were clear and well maintained. The cabin was immaculate and very cozy, despite the single digit and negative temperatures. We're planning on making another stay here in the future. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

We had such a relaxing weekend away from NYC. Fireplace was so cozy! Our pup loved exploring the woods surrounding the property.

Our hosts were incredibly accommodating when we had an unexpected delay in our vacation plans. We had such a great time at the cabin in October, so we were glad we couldn't go in July after all. The fall setting was so peaceful and we enjoyed using the wood stove, beautiful open fireplace, and sitting out by the campfire at night. The cabin was spacious enough for the 6 of us to enjoy family time together and have privacy when needed. Everything was incredibly clean and the hot tub was an added treat. This cabin is a definitely a hidden gem!

My wife and 16 year old daughter absolutely loved our stay in the cabin. I should say I loved our stay and my 16 year old tolerated it well. It was a great place to consider home base for our daily trips. We visited many waterfalls, quaint small towns, a couple of festivals, and some great restaurants. The cabin was spacious and clean. The back deck was solitude at its best. I found a crooked piece of cedar and whittled a cane for my father that had just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. It was cathartic and provided me an opportunity to wrestle with the pain of his diagnosis.It rained nearly every afternoon that we were there. I understand this is not normal. For me, it was lovely. I just sat on the porch and watched the rain pour down and the lightning strike nearby. The only wildlife we saw were a couple of deer, a few turkey, and lots of playful chipmunks. We had a dog and a cat come to visit us as well.If I had anything negative to say about this property, it is the air conditioning does not adequately cool the whole house. Of course we were there during an unusual heat wave. We were generally comfortable with the air conditioning and all of the fans. I would not let that deter anybody from coming.On the whole, this cabin was absolutely beautiful, the furniture was comfortable, the owners were absent unless we called upon them, and the back deck was literally my Nirvana. I sincerely hope I have an opportunity to return someday. It was wonderful.
