About this villa rental
Villa “Escape in Blue” is located in the bay of Stalis in Municipality of Hersonissos, Crete. It is a luxury 2-bedroom villa which is about 380 meters or 7 minutes on foot, from the beach of Stalis. The villa is located in a 4000 square meter plot, which offers privacy and calmness. A beautiful natural environment surrounded with magnificent flora (mediterranean plants and grey-blue stones). The 2 bedrooms and bed-sofa can accommodate 4 guests and an extra guest, respectively. The villa is furnished with high quality hardwood furniture and offers a fully equipped kitchen with the essential electrical and cooking appliances. The bathroom allots a laundry machine. In addition, the villa has a spacious parking area, a stone barbeque and a large wooden dining table with 12 seats. You can, also, dine at the stone-terrace while enjoying the abundant sea and mountain view. BONUS: Please note that for more than 10 days of booking we do offer a free boat trip, only for adults, to the nearest bays and a free unique meal at the barbeque.

Pros - Property is in an excellent location, great views and close enough to both town and beach easily reachable by foot. Very tidy and smart. The outdoor kitchen and dining area were very well used. Communication with Angela was excellent and very helpful during our stay. A comfortable stay for a party of 4, which included 2 teenagers.Cons - The bathroom was functional but the shower is very, very small be warned. No Aircon in the 2nd bedroom. Property only had one sun lounger and note that if 2/3 cars parked then limited outdoor space to sun bath. The garden is not a usable area.Overall a great base.

Bei Ankunft wurden wir bereits von den Besitzern freudig erwartet. Eine kurze Führung durch die Wohnung, dann direkt ein (zwei, drei...) Raki und eine liebevoll gerichtete Obstplatte zur Begrüßung. Kommunikation in erstklassigem Englisch problemlos möglich.
Vermietet wird die Wohnung im Gartengeschoss des Hauses, das Obergeschoss bewohnen die Vermieter am Wochenende gelegentlich selbst. Der große Terrassenbereich, Grill, Hängematte usw. steht zur freien Benutzung zur Verfügung. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und luxuriös eingerichtet, die Vermieterin hat hier ein sehr geschicktes Händchen. Sofa, Sessel, ein kleiner Tresen mit Stühlen, großer Esstisch usw. Das komplette Design der Wohnung ist sehr gelungen.
Großer Wohn/Essbereich, großes Schlafzimmer, Kinderzimmer/Nebenraum mit Stockbett, Bad (mit Föhn, Waschmaschine).
An Ausstattung mangelt es nicht - neben dem High-End Kühlschrank in der Küche gibt es verpackte und gereinigte Küchengeräte alle Art zur Benutzung. Vom Wasserkocher über Espressomaschine, Waffeleisen usw.
Handtücher für Bad und Strand liegen bereit, alles ist auf den ersten und auch zweiten Blick pikobello sauber.
Da die Wohnung erst seit letztem Jahr vermietet wird ist alles in einem Topzustand und man fühlt sich wie bei einem Erstbezug,
Die Lage der Wohnung am Hang ist absolut genial - total ruhig, super Aussicht auf Stalis und das Meer.
Die Hanglage bedeutet natürlich einen mini Fußmarsch bis zum Strand - ist aber gut in 10-15 Minuten zu schaffen. Den nächsten kleinen Supermarkt erreicht man zu Fuß in 5 Minuten. Da wir uns einen Mietwagen genommen hatten, sind wir aber sowieso meist an etwas entlegenere Strände gefahren - kann ich nur empfehlen, zur Hauptsaison ist in den Hotspots doch sehr viel Trubel (von dem man aber am Haus absolut nichts mitbekommt).
Als besonderes Bonbon haben uns Aggeliki und Michalis mit ihrem Boot auf einen kleinen Badeausflug mitgenommen und uns am Abend mit einem leckeren Barbecue verwöhnt. Vielen Dank noch einmal dafür - Gastfreundschaft wird bei dieser Familie absolut gelebt.
Wir werden sicherlich in den nächsten Jahren an diesen wunderschönen Ort und zu diesen sehr lieben Menschen zurückkehren.
