The place was good for sleeping, and slept everybody that came. The kitchen was a little dusty/looked unsanitary. The shower was either super hot or cold, no in between. The hot water knob kept moving on it’s own making it hotter.

It’s hard to know where to start..the floors were uneven and super soft in some areas. My elderly mother was with me and almost fell twice. The walls had cracks, paint peeling all over the house, the bathroom door was dirty, the tub had mold, the shower curtain was filthy, the bedroom in the back had a broken window, it wouldn’t lock. The back door knob was loose and we were nervous about the safety of the property. There were stains on the couch, there was dirt and debris in the floor vent in the kitchen. The pillows had stains and the bunk beds were not secure. When we arrived to the unit, I had to actually go to the store and buy cleaning supplies to clean it,I have never in my life experienced such a thing. 10/10 do NOT recommend!!!!

This stay was my horrible got charge a cleaning fee and when i arrived it didnt smell like its been cleaned. I checked my self and found dust in areas where you think they would of dusted and clean. The kids started itching and breaking out. So i believe someone stays there and has a dog because we noticed dog hair around the rental. I would like a refund back for the cleaning fee becauae i ended up buyin cleaning supplies and cleaning myself. Its just ridiculous. Then i tell Nick about it and he never responded unprofessional

As the ad says, there is plenty of sleeping spots....most memory foam. House is old and in good shape and everything worked just fine. Zero communication from manager until we were a day into the stay, which was greatly needed the day before or at least day of arrival. They were all "stock" form messages, so no need to send them nearly after the stay ended. Only disappointment from the stay.

Good morning, So I rented this place on ur site it was my best friend’s wedding we were going to stay there for one night. So the host send me a message saying the place is not ready send me an address and a link to like at the place . I say ok. Then he updates the prices and listings description once’s I pay I get access to the final address and code which needed up being the place I originally booked that was messy dirty and not ready . So we didn’t not stay there. When I asked for my refund he doesn’t want to give it to me. Saying it my fault I don’t see how. Can someone please help me it’s really un fair

We booked this property to take my sister to Cleveland for her wedding party. Everything in the house was gross. There were chips on the furniture. The floor wasn't swept. Pictures on the wall were either crooked, missing, or laying down on the ground. We went and bought throw pillows and blankets to cover all the furniture because it was gross. The chairs were stained. The floor was coming up. Just a disappointment. The photos of the property are very deceiving.

This house is dingy and dirty. Cracks in the ceiling, paint chipping, one room had a large hole in the wall covered with a blanket, the floor was warped in multiple places. Bathroom door could only close with a hook latch that still didn’t close it all the way. The listing details are incorrect. This house does NOT have a queen bed, 2 twin bunk beds, and a twin bed. It has a FULL bed, 2 FULL bunk beds, and a twin bed. My wife and I had to sleep separately because of this. The bunk beds were extremely squeaky and severely unstable. We didn’t feel comfortable letting kids on the top bunks at all. Very unsafe. None of the TV remotes worked. No smoke detectors anywhere downstairs. Upper half of the duplex had a smoke alarm beeping entire first night that was very loud downstairs. Housekeeper came to fix those things but was still in the house at nearly 3pm after she said she was coming at 9:45am. In the end, I still had to connect my phone and my own Amazon account to get the TV to work. Bedroom TV worked for an evening but would not work the next day. There are nowhere near enough dishes for the number of people that could stay here. Booking was simple, location was decent, and the owner was quickly responsive to fix smoke detector and TV remotes. The housekeeper just didn’t know how to get it to work properly and I had to do it myself. Still never worked fully. Overall, you get what you pay for with these cheap listings. Would not recommend.

Our recent experience with this VRBO property was nothing short of a nightmare. Right from the beginning, our stay was marred by issues. The water wasn't working upon our arrival, leading to a delayed check-in. While this wasn't the host's fault, attempting to contact Nick to discuss the situation proved futile. We had to involve VRBO, who eventually reached out to him. Upon finally arriving at the property, we were greeted by a rather unsettling neighborhood with boarded-up buildings and a menacing dog across the street. The actual condition of the house was a stark contrast to the photos provided; it was run-down and far from the advertised presentation. Safety was a major concern as we discovered soft floors, only one smoke detector in the entire house, and an overall lack of cleanliness. To our shock, a massive hole in the wall of the back bedroom was concealed by a large blanket. Additionally, it's worth noting that Nick violated VRBO rules by directly contacting us on our personal cell phone numbers. In light of these issues, we made the difficult decision to leave the property after a mere 10 minutes. Attempts to obtain a refund were unsuccessful, adding further frustration to an already unpleasant experience. In summary, this VRBO listing fell far short of expectations, and I would strongly caution anyone considering a stay here.

I walked in and walked out five minutes later…we could not stay there. Gnats flying around im the bathroom, tub not clean paint chipping all around the tub, furniture does not look sanitary , bed in back room looks like someone just got out of it, none of the linens in the house is clean, floor felt unsafe and unstable, stains all over the living room chairs and couches Toilet tissue stuck im one of the doors instead of a doorknob Didn’t smell clean at all…. Kitchen not sanitary Dont know what was in the air but my face broke out IMMEDIATELY! Im sorry but I could not stay there. I am requesting a full refund Nothing about this place matched the descriptions or the pictures. They have been altered This place is like a group recovery home…VRBO should take this listing down and ban this home from ever being rented Needs a bullzozer Even the customer service rep I spoke to was sickened by the pics and descriptions but unfortunately, nothing could be done at the time. I had to drive TWO HOURS to my sister’s home in another state in order to have lodging before heading back home to Chicago… We were certainly fearful of our health and safety

This lower level duplex home was close to lots of great things. Neighborhood was quiet. Host communicated quickly and thoughtfully. Nice place to sit outside in front. Impressive with 3 bedrooms. Easy door code check in. Clean place. Even had some board games to play.

This is THE WORST rental experience I’ve had in my life and my first experience with Vrbo. The place was not cleaned, washroom tub and kitchen was a mess (stove, cooker, sink, fridge) even though we were charged cleaning fee that was same as listing price for 3 days. The floors were a dangerous tripping hazard and glued to carpet with some places sticking up and there was a live roach in one of the rooms as soon as we got in. I got there with my young children around 9.30pm and had to leave around an hour and half later.We called the host to complain but got an answering service line. Vrbo could not reach the host as well yet they said there was nothing they could do. Had to check my family into a hotel around midnight. We sent photos and videos evidence and the host via email because they claimed that they did not get any from vrbo (this on Vrbo’s advice). Initially the host agreed to refund, then later the host refused to refund claiming nothing was wrong with the house. Vrbo said we are at the mercy of the host even when evidence was provided. Host claimed they had a cleaner who cleaned the place but that wasn’t true (if you check other reviews, this is a clear pattern) and host won’t do anything because they know VRBO will let them get away with it. If you don’t mind staying with young children in a dump or throwing money down the drain, then by all means go ahead. If you can afford incurring medical expenses, ignore this. This was a fraudulent listing &a nightmare

This property did indeed have a lot of beds, gross stained, horrible, smelling beds. The kitchen area was uncleaned. All surfaces had a gritty sticky feel to them. The floors were falling apart. The shower curtain in the bathroom had mold on it as well as the tubs surrounding area. All of the furniture was stained and had a pungent odor. I would definitely not recommend this property to anyone. tried to communicate with the owner they were supposed to contact me in regards to the property and its conditions, and they never did. But they definitely didn’t have a problem charging for the stay when I didn’t stay.

Highlight of property: Awesome, private front patio that included a table to relax and a mature plant to cover viewing from outside onlookers! It was exactly as listed. No issues or problems. It is located on the west side of Cleveland, approx 10 min drive to Downtown or Lakewood. Priced right. It’s not a luxurious location, but sufficient for our friends weekend outage to get to our music venues and easily accessible by vehicle/Uber to other touristy areas. Minimalist but affordable, clean, and plenty of space for guests. Thanks!

Pretty easy to get to and great location for travelling to downtown and/or Edgewater park. The only downside is having to share the driveway with the residents of the other side of the duplex.

It was a good spot to crash for the Blink-182 concert. There was a full coffee pot when I got there and I don’t know how long it was sitting there. The house has a lot of history and room for sleeping. The neighbors were nice but the crime statistics of the area aren’t that great. The house is secured though and there were kids playing in the street, so we felt ok. Very comfy bunk beds.
