Beautiful spot, surrounded by nature, with very friendly hosts. Facilities were great. Loads to do with the kids.

We stayed in 'Dragonfly' which suited our needs perfectly - compact but had everything we needed. Our own private bathroom was a real bonus and the mattress was exceptionally comfortable; didn't expect that when glamping! Fiona was there to meet us on arrival & James called in to introduce himself that evening as there was a private function being held in the communal space that night. (which we were initially worried about as Dragonfly is very close to the 'Fisherman's Hut' and we worried about a potential noise issue. However the event was not on late & we had zero issues sleeping in the really comfy bed anyway.) We did have a problem with electrical failures from the start but both Fiona & James were very responsive and quick to fix the issue. The site is beautiful and a lot of thought and hard work has gone into it which we really appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend Shepherds Loch Glamping to glamping novices and experts alike.

We were perfectly happy with everything we found. In fact, an offer to ride with James to check on the sheep one morning and an unexpected visit from his collie one night really made our trip!

Outstanding beauty. Friendly family. Great place to retreat from busy life.

The rule on grounds should be all dogs kept on leads just in case you have a few dogs on site at same time. But wouldn't stop me returning .
