We enjoyed a wonderful week on Emerald Isle. Although VERY hot this summer, our condo was deliciously cool, very clean, easy access to the pool and beach, nearby to stores, restaurants and activities. Would stay again.

Overall we had a nice stay. The unit was clean and well stocked, however the A/C was busted the first day and a half. The property manager was responsive once we were able to make contact (took several hours). Needless to say we were miserable the first two days with temps inside the unit above 80. Also, the listing says it’s a two minute walk to the beach but mentions nothing about stairs along the way. This was very limiting for my older in-laws.

When arriving at the condo you could see that the building was not as new as advertised and it needed painting. When entering the condo, the area inside was not cleaned properly and any recent repairs wasn’t done by a professional. The furniture outside was old dirty and faded. In one bedroom, it was dirty linen in the closet from the previous guest. In the showers was old mats with sand underneath. Luckily we bought what we needed to make it livable. We enjoyed the area. The community was very friendly. We paid for the property to be cleaned, I think that part should be refunded to my group. Make sure that all the key cards work getting into the property
