We came in with a late arrival. The lights were on in the house so we had no problems finding our way around inside when we arrived. It was quiet and peaceful area to stay to get away for a short break from Dallas. Saw deer the first morning walking past the house. Too much to do with Eureka Springs nearby to worry about no television service, that’s something you do at home, not in surroundings like this.
Maybe a simple clock radio for music. But no television except a DVD player is again NOT a bad thing. And taller people may need to learn to duck down in some spots walking around in the kitchen, we’re shorter so not an issue for us.

Cabin is a wonderful blend of cabin comfy and antiques. We slept in the room with a ceiling fan so we were very comfortable sleeping and the bed was great. We only stayed two nights but all 10 of us took showers within 12 hours and there was hot water for all. First morning there we saw a Doe across the street. A nice neighbor told us if we left food out they will come into the yard, another one stopped to tell us how to find the lake before we even thought to ask. We would love to visit again .
I wish we had brought fans for bedtime as it was warm in one ground level bedroom and the living room and very warm upstairs. I was glad I brought own butcher knives as the ones there weren't sharp . Both issues were minimal and didn't take away from a the awesome time we had and think it's a great place to stay.
